Meet Pythagoras! This 45-pound border collie/husky mix is five years old and is as wonderful as they come! You don't have to be a math whiz to realize how special this boy is! Handsome and attentive, this boy is the whole package. He already knows how to sit and is a fan of all sorts of treats. He has a sensitive side and loves to be close to his people. You'll often find Pythagoras nuzzled up close to volunteers where he proceeds to give the best kisses! He'll never pass up a belly rub and is a very connecting boy. Curious and playful, Pythagoras enjoys his time outdoors. He with thrive in an active home with daily exercise, continued training and a yard to enjoy. He will need lots of mental stimulation and will make and excellent companion for years to come. Based on our evaluation, we feel Pythagoras would do best in an active home with adults or families with kids ages eight and up. He may have the capacity to live in a home with other dogs and we are happy to do a meet and greet with your family fur baby. Taylor’s owner has to move and cannot take her dog with her. We are helping her find a new loving home . She was born early May 2015 is up to date on shots, spayed and gets flea/tick treatment monthly . She is housebroken and crate trained. She knows a lot of commands including, heal, sit, stay, lay down and come. Taylor walks well on a leash and is food motivated. She hasn’t been around little kids so maybe a little older kids would be better. She is a mix and likes to chill on the couch with her humans. To meet her call Ashley at 712-539-2747. She is located in Grand Rapids but is willing to meet within a 2.5 hour drive. $50 adoption fee
