Here are some of his characteristics: Toy/Play Driven - he will play fetch until he physically can't anymore Loves to herd his brother in the backyard  Sucks on his blanket when calm  Loves visitors  Afraid/doesn't like little children - he has not had much time around kids, so we haven't had many good interactions  Picky eater - he gets bored of his food, so he gets a meal topper to get him to eat  Commands: Sit, stay, wait, lay down, good boy (release words), speak, whisper, go to bed, in (in cage) take it and can't reach it **RPSM DOES NOT HAVE THIS DOG. WE DO NOT KNOW THE MIX Just like all of our puppies he was placed in a wonderful foster home (not shelter) receiving LOVE and proper socialization, basic commands and started on their potty training. He is GREAT with children as well as other dogs, cats and kids. He loves toys and cuddles. He will make a Great family pet. This girl was found wondering around a business and was brought to us. She is friendly, happy but will be a good size dog when grown. She has not been in a house (that we know of), nor has been on a leash. She does okay in a crate and has no issues with other dogs. She is just a sweet girl who is now ready for a forever home. She is in Tennessee but can be transported to you through Rescue Riders.

Story
Journey is a very energetic young dog whom is driven to work (herding). He loves to go for walks, and chase the ball, and animals too. Journey has high level of energy characteristic of Border Collies. He needs to be busy fetching, or working to coral animal he sees that need to be herded. Journey needs to be in an environment where the people that own him realize that he needs daily exercise and needs to be mentally stimulated (encouraging him to be what God designed him to be....a working dog taking care of the flock). He does not interact with cats well as he want to herd them. He has been potty trained to go outside and also knows a few commands for treats such as sit, stay, shake, down and wait when coming in doors. He has crate trained. He does struggle with staying though especially when distracted when a work opportunity (herding) presents itself. He has been a patient of Integrative Veterinary Services of Southeast MI.
