Meet Finn, a 25-pound bundle of pure, hilarious, full-throttle joy! At just over a year old, this miniature shepherd/herding breed mix is living life at maximum volume. With his adorable short tail wiggling at lightspeed, Finn is the ultimate goofy, derpy sidekick who approaches every single day with unmatched enthusiasm. If you are looking for a fun-sized partner with a huge heart and endless energy, Finn is ready to zoom straight into your life!
Finn’s absolute favorite things in the world are playing fetch and having epic wrestle-and-chase sessions with his canine buddies. His enthusiasm for life and his doggy friends is completely infectious—he’s truly at his happiest when he’s romping around with a buddy or tracking down a bouncing ball. Because he is genetically a herding dog through and through, Finn is a very "mouthy" boy! It’s entirely gentle and affectionate—never actual biting—just his quirky, hands-on way of communicating and playing when he’s excited. Given his athletic build, high drive, and eagerness to please, Finn would be a dream candidate for dog sports! Whether it’s Agility, Fast CAT, or Flyball, he has the intelligence and speed to absolutely shine with an active handler or a playful resident dog friend.
While Finn is a social butterfly with dogs he knows, he can be a bit wary of new people at first. He just needs a low-pressure, calm introduction to feel safe, and once he realizes you're a friend, his sweet, affectionate, and deeply loyal side comes shining through. Because he can get overstimulated easily by lots of noise and sudden movement, Finn would do best in a calmer suburban neighborhood or a peaceful country home with plenty of room to run. For the same reason, a home with older children who understand his energetic style is ideal, as his playful herding instincts mean he would try to chase and mouth smaller kids. Due to his high prey drive, a home without cats, chickens, or other small critters is a must!
The best news? Finn is already house trained and crate trained! He is a bright, eager-to-please pup who is so ready to find a loving home that appreciates his silly antics, respects his sensitive side, and gives him the space and outlets he needs to thrive.

Finn's adoption fee is $400 plus MN tax which covers his neuter, vaccinations, microchip and any additional medical care he may have needed while in the rescue’s care.
