Meet Gus, a charming 5-year-old who's ready to find his forever home! Gus is a sweet and affectionate boy, though he navigates the world a little differently – he's partially blind and mostly deaf. Don't let that fool you, though; he's full of life and love! Gus thrives when he has a "job" to do! This smart boy absolutely loves to herd balls and enthusiastically chases after his canine foster siblings. He's incredibly friendly with new people, quickly making friends wherever he goes. Gus is also a pro at home life, being fully house and crate trained. He's met children, cats, and other dogs and gets along well with everyone. We're looking for a special family for Gus – one with experience with herding breeds who understands their unique energy and drive. While Gus is generally a calm companion, he does need understanding and training to help him manage his excitement and reactions to external stimuli, especially when there's a barrier like a fence. Gus will need a home with suitable space to run, whether it's a securely fenced yard or room for long-line training until his recall is solid. His ideal family will appreciate his need for mental and physical engagement, helping him live his happiest, most fulfilled life. If you have the herding breed experience, the understanding for a dog with special sensory needs, and the space for this wonderful boy to thrive, Gus can't wait to meet you! He's a truly nice dog who adores his humans and canine friends alike. These 3-month-old Aussie and Blue Heeler mixes are the perfect blend of high speed fun and heavy duty snuggles. They love to romp around and play, but no matter how excited they are, they can`t resist hopping into your lap or nuzzling into your neck for snuggles. They love people more than they love running around! Once they get their people fix, they so love to explore and play chase in the yard. They would thrive in a home where they have lots of space for exercise.Rapunzel and Lydia Mae are microchipped, vaccinated to age, and available for foster to adopt until they`re old enough to be spayed at The Babinski Foundation. At 9 years young, you’d never guess he was a senior based on his energy levels, especially when he’s outside or practicing tricks for treats. However, you might catch a glimpse of his age during his big old afternoon naps.Alby is potty trained, knows commands like `sit,` `stay,` and `leave it,` and loves being brushed. He LOVES toys, especially when it comes to stuffed animals. While he is a loyal and attentive listener once he trusts you, he prefers a home without toddlers whose fast movements might startle his old bones. He has been tested at the shelter and does great with children over 8 years old. Having previously lived with both a dog and a cat, Alby would love to find a forever home with some furry siblings!
