Lady is a wonderful dog. I adopted Lady 7 years ago from a police officer that worked with my aunt. I have never had issues with her around my two boys (they are now 13 & 14 ys old) and she has been a great addition to our family. However, I am newly divorced and have to rent a house that is not pet friendly; unfortunately, this is the only rental that I can currently afford. She has had a few accidents in the house as I do not have a dog door and am unable to have one installed to this rental. I would love to find her a new home that will love her as much as we do!

Her owner worked on a ranch and when he was let go, he left her behind. She has been in a foster home for the last month. She lived with other dogs, and did well unless they became bossy with her, she would defend herself. There were cats in the home which she would stalk, but was never aggressive with. She may chase them however. There were kids on the ranch, but we are unsure of the ages. Maizie is a very sweet and easy going girl and appears to be quite adaptable. I would say the biggest concern with her and small children would be her excitement and desire for attention when she sees people and the fact that she likes to jump up on you for attention. She was housebroken and crate trained at the fosters home. More will be known about me soon. A Path 4 Paws holds adoption events at our Adoptions Center, located at 232 N. I fostered Itachi from The Animal Foundation as a companion to my pit bull. They did not know his breed and I didn't know he was being medicated for anxiety until after I adopted him. He is very loving with everyone but as a cattle dog he has a chase drive and herding instinct. He came to me housebroken and waits patiently to go outdoors. He is crate trained as well. As I try to return to stable employment, I will be gone more which is unfair to him. I can no longer provide him the environment he deserves. The Animal Foundation has at least a week or two wait for an appointment and I have no means to transport him. He needs people and other animals around that he can love on and be loved by.
