Story
I`m having a great time in foster care! My foster family wanted to let you know how I was doing in their home! She`s adjusting very well and is comfortable with my other dog. I taught her her name, the sit command, the down command and to stay out if the kitchen. We are working on potty training as she has had a few accidents within the house at first, but nothing recently. She`s very very close to being fully house trained. Her playful/goofy side has come out, especially after a bath or putting oil on her skin because it`s itchy/dry. Kellie`s doing great!`

Story
** PLEASE EMAIL questions, please DO NOT call. We are a volunteer based group and are unable to handle the call volume. WE HOLD ADOPTIONS ON SATURDAYS & SUNDAYS FROM 10-4 PM at our Adoption Center. Our adoption center is located next to CAL Ranch at 232 North Jones (I-95) Suite 170. NO APPOINTMENT NECESSARY, just walk right in. Storm is about 7 1/2 yrs old and weighs about 50 lbs. Unfortunately, she came into a shelter as a stray so we have no back history, more will be known about me soon. She is friendly and seems well trained. She is behaved around other male dogs during meets. My foster dad says that I am a dream. That my name Storm does not suit me. That a more suitable name for me would be Calm. Yes this is true, I am very easy going though I do like to play with my foster dad's male and female dogs, but they don't engage with me. I guess I intimidate them, for I am much larger than they are. Therefore I think I will blend in better with dogs more my size. I am very content being in my crate at home for several hours, or in the car. I only bark when I feel that there might be some danger. I walk well on the leash, I am not much of a puller. My foster dad doesn't have any children or cats, I probably would enjoy being with kids 8 years and up. I believe that I would be a good addition to most people's lives!!! A Path 4 Paws holds adoption events at our Adoptions Center, located at 232 N. Jones Blvd, Suite 170 right next to CAL Ranch (North Jones/ I-95). Please bring your dog(s) for a meet and greet (if applicable) Please bring your entire family so everyone can meet. If you are interested in Storm, please contact dogrescuelv@hotmail.com to confirm the dog you are interested in, will be attending that particular event. We have limited space at the store, therefore we can not take every dog out to the event. This pet comes with 30 days of free post-adoption support through Petcademy.org . This benefit includes free access to Petcademy's team of trainers/behaviorists, as well as access to online materials that will help you settle Storm into your home. You can text unlimited questions to Petcademy and they'll respond within 24 hours, Monday-Friday. This pet is spayed/neutered, has current vaccinations and includes a microchip, deworming and 2 free vet visits, including a Healthy Start Certificate with the VCA Hospitals with a $250 health credit (restrictions apply).
