** PLEASE EMAIL questions, please DO NOT call. We are a volunteer based group and are unable to handle the call volume. WE HOLD ADOPTIONS ON SATURDAYS & SUNDAYS FROM 10-4 PM at our Adoption Center. Our adoption center is located next to CAL Ranch at 232 North Jones (I-95) Suite 170. NO APPOINTMENT NECESSARY, just walk right in. Thatcher is about 3 yrs old and weighs about 36 lbs. Unfortunately, he came into a shelter as a stray so we have no back history, more will be known about me soon. A Path 4 Paws holds adoption events at our Adoptions Center, located at 232 N. Jones Blvd, Suite 170 right next to CAL Ranch (North Jones/ I-95). Please bring your dog(s) for a meet and greet (if applicable) Please bring your entire family so everyone can meet. If you are interested in Thatcher, please contact dogrescuelv@hotmail.com to confirm the dog you are interested in, will be attending that particular event. We have limited space at the store, therefore we can not take every dog out to the event. This pet comes with 30 days of free post-adoption support through Petcademy.org . This benefit includes free access to Petcademy's team of trainers/behaviorists, as well as access to online materials that will help you settle Thatcher into your home. You can text unlimited questions to Petcademy and they'll respond within 24 hours, Monday-Friday. This pet is spayed/neutered, has current vaccinations and includes a microchip, deworming and 2 free vet visits, including a Healthy Start Certificate with the VCA Hospitals with a $250 health credit (restrictions apply). Adoption fee applies. Please make sure you have read the information listed on the homepage for requirements and restrictions. Foster homes & volunteers are always needed. He may be a pure bred border collie. He would be okay with older children, just not younger kids that he can run over and knock down. He is very high energy and has a dominant personality. I took him in from a neglect situation. He was locked in a too small cage for his entire life, which is 11 months. His previous owner was going to dump him in the desert. He is not a good match for my family and situation. I would love to find him a terrific home with experienced owner. He has tons of potential.

𝘼𝙑𝘼𝙄𝙇𝘼𝘽𝙇𝙀 𝙁𝙊𝙍 𝘼𝘿𝙊𝙋𝙏𝙄𝙊𝙉!!! Helllllloooooooo Mushu (D-5751) This handsome, gentleman is only 11 month old. Mushu was surrendered due to owners moving into an apartment. While the previous owner would have loved to make it work, they knew an apartment is not the best place for a young Border Collie. We were told that one of Mushu's favorite games is fetch. He is a bit of a busy body, and likes to work his brain. We were told he is good with people of all ages, other dogs, and very curious of cats. Mushu enjoys all the smells as he sticks his head out the windows during car rides. We were also told that he is already house trained, crate trained and leash trained. Don't sleep on a shelter dog!
