Her owner worked on a ranch and when he was let go, he left her behind. She has been in a foster home for the last month. She lived with other dogs, and did well unless they became bossy with her, she would defend herself. There were cats in the home which she would stalk, but was never aggressive with. She may chase them however. There were kids on the ranch, but we are unsure of the ages. Maizie is a very sweet and easy going girl and appears to be quite adaptable. I would say the biggest concern with her and small children would be her excitement and desire for attention when she sees people and the fact that she likes to jump up on you for attention. Meet Koda! Koda is a handsome, 1 year-old male Border Collie with a big personality and even bigger heart. He’s playful, affectionate, and always ready for an adventure. Koda loves chewing on his favorite bone—and he’ll even bring it to you in hopes you’ll try to take it (his version of a fun game). Fetch is one of his favorite activities, and he’s happiest when he has room to run. He’s also a big fan of water play! This boy is very smart and highly correctable, but he does have a dominant streak with other large dogs.
