Story
Olivia was a great dog, but last year, during my wife’s pregnancy she became difficult when it came to staying in our yard and also became extremely anxious. She does not like loud noises and needs open space to get all her energy out. She is house trained and kennel trained, she is very energetic, and will play a lot. We have a big mancoon cat and she has no issue with her. She needs someone to give her a lots of attention. It’s hard for us to be there for her constantly like she needs or work in some behavioral training for her due to our scheduling with the baby and our other animals.

Story
This handsome boy is looking for some fun and entertainment! He loves to play with toys, and will pick his favorite and let you know that you are welcome to share in the game! He enjoys going for a long walk, and would love to be invited to go for a hike in the foothills! Even though he is not sure about the pool in the play yard, he is willing to get his front paws a little wet! Maybe you could show him how much fun a wading pool or stream can be! This boy is a delight, and has so much potential to be the very best forever member of your family!

Story
Ember is a very sweet, loyal girl. She adores her family and does well with children. She's super smart, very polite to us, listens pretty well, and has a calm, very quiet personality. She likes car rides, hikes, naps, belly-rubs. She walks on a leash well, and has great house-manners.She gets along fine with our other dogs, and enjoys keeping an eye on our housecat. When people visit she will do best if she's on a leash or in her kennel/dog run. She is not friendly to strangers, but loves and is loyal to her own people and wants to protect them. She's basically an oversized sheltie. She might love a job on a farm/ranch, or watching over a large yard, but she is also flexible enough to be a nice companion indoors provided she gets daily exercise, some good outdoor time and has an experienced owner.

Story
Penny is seemingly a dachshund/border collie mix who is very friendly and adaptable. Penny likes some active time but also enjoys snuggling/chilling inside. She walks well on a leash but will occasionally stop to look at something or sniff. She was quick to adapt to apartment living and has done well with meeting so many people and dogs in the building. She really likes kids and other dogs. She also plays with a kitten that lives down the hall, so she seems to enjoy other animals in general. She follows the "sit" command all the time and is often able to perform "stay" and "come". She has done well walking down to busy areas and greeting people and other dogs. She can be left alone in a crate for a few hours but can get frustrated if crated often. She sheds like a Border Collie. She has occasional accidents in the apartment but this may be due to the difficulty of getting her to the bathroom area of the apartment complex. She is learning to ring a bell to be let out and is getting it.

Story
Meet Lilly! This beautiful 60 pound girl has such a beautiful story. Miss Lilly was an emotional support doggie to her owner who suddenly passed away. Right after, she was taken to the Bernalillo Shelter where she was soon put on their Euthanasia list. A friend of the lady who previously owned Lilly contacted us in hopes that we could save her as she knew what an amazing and sweet girl she was. Currently she is working with a trainer, who is helping her overcome her need to guard people. She is doing fantastic with her training and it letting all people come and love on her. The trainer is also willing to work with her in the home with whoever is interested in adopting her. She would need a mandatory trial adoption during this training period, to ensure everything goes smoothly.Lilly does need to be a single dog in the home.If you would like to meet Lilly, she is at our main ranch location, or you can email dogswmr@gmail.com.

Story
Meet Cho!Cho means `beautiful` and this girl fits that perfectly with her stunning blue eye and gorgeous patterns. She can be a bit shy when meeting new people but she warms up quickly, once she is comfortable she is the biggest love bug. Cho can be very protective of her people, because of this we think she would do best as the only pet in her future home. She is very active and agile, she should go to a home where she will get lots of exercise and mental enrichment. Cho was kennel trained, potty trained, and dog door trained in her previous home.Cho is at our main ranch location!Watermelon Mountain Ranch(Across from Cleveland High School)3251 Westphalia Blvd. NERio Rancho, NM 87144505-221-2359Wed-Sun 11am-4pm(adoptions and tours until 3pm)
