Meet Chica B!Personality: Zoomy Love NuggetLikes: Zooming, Snacks, Turning your lap into her home baseChica B is an outgoing, lively little superstar who’s always ready for her next adventure. In the play yard, she absolutely thrives—sniffing every interesting smell, running enthusiastic laps, and proudly showing off her natural athleticism. She’s the kind of dog who enjoys a good daily dose of exercise, whether it’s a romp in the yard or a brisk walk to stretch those speedy legs. But don’t be fooled by her zoomies—once she gets her energy out, Chica B becomes a full-on cuddle bug. Her favorite cool-down routine? Crawling right into your lap like she’s 10 pounds lighter and made entirely of love. She already knows sit, is super motivated by treats, and seems genuinely curious about other dogs. Above all, she’s incredibly sweet, affectionate, and ready to bond hard with her person.Take Chica B home and enjoy the perfect mix of lively fun and heart-melting cuddles!

Story
Maggie is a 9-month-old border collie mix. She is a sweet puppy—very smart and easily trainable. Maggie is both crate-trained and house-trained. She has mastered the "sit" command and is currently working on "stay" and "come." She walks on a leash, although she still exhibits some typical puppy behaviors, such as pulling and occasionally tugging on the leash. Maggie enjoys playing fetch with a tennis ball and loves to chase after a soft Frisbee. She has undergone a complete veterinary check-up, is fully vaccinated, and is on heartworm prevention medication. However, she does not seem to get along with cats, which is the reason for her rehoming. Although she has had limited interactions with other dogs, her few encounters have gone well after a bit of barking and playful behavior. If you're interested in meeting Maggie, come to our adoption event on the 1st and 3rd Saturday of each month from 11am-2pm, located at 6300 San Mateo NE in the south Sprouts parking lot. Alternatively, we can arrange a Private Meet-and-Greet with the foster parent and your household with a completed application. Complete an easy, no-obligation online application and take the first step towards welcoming Maggie into your home by clicking on this link https://form.jotform.com/222028369049155 The $250 adoption fee covers all vaccines, spay, microchip, and heartworm/tick-borne illness testing.

Story
Meet Zeus – 90% Ears, 10% Dog, 100% ZoomiZeus is a 1-year-old male Border Collie mix whose ears arrive in the room before the rest of him. Seriously—those things have their own zip code. Along with the ears comes a whole lot of energy, enthusiasm, and playful chaos in the very best way. This guy lives for balls, toys, and zoomies, and he’s always ready to turn any yard into his personal racetrack. Zeus is smart and eager to please, knowing sit, down, stay, and come, and he’s gentle taking treats (even when he’s excited). He’s friendly, affectionate, and loves being part of the action. With other dogs, Zeus can be a bit forward, so a meet and greet is recommended to make sure everyone’s vibes line up. His previous owner reported that he is crate trained, rides well in the car, and may pull some on leash—nothing unexpected for a young, energetic herding mix who’s ready to learn. If you’re looking for a fun-loving, big-eared sidekick who will keep you laughing, moving, and never missing a sound, Zeus is ready to sprint straight into your heart.

Story
This is Cooper he is a 5 year old border collie blue healer an amazing dog and does love anyone after a couple times of meeting them. Cooper has allot of energy and loves to run around and play. He knows basic commands sits and shakes hands before every meal. Very good in kennels and leash trained. My new homes back yard is just not big enough for him and me and my wife now have a baby in the house and he's just to rambunctious to keep him. It truly hurts my heart to even be doing this I have had him since he was only 6 weeks old. I just cannot keep him I have tried everything to avoid this but it is time I just want Cooper to go to the best loving home I could find for him

These pups are in Albuquerque, New Mexico too!

Story
Hi, I'm Serena. I'm a real love bug, and everyone I meet is my new best friend, so I know we'll get along great! I’m still a young gal and always ready for play. I would love to learn from and with you, as I am just getting started in this life. Here are some of the things I love: - getting to spend time outside - I love to stretch my legs and would thrive with an outdoor space - all kinds of toys - give me a squeaky toy, and I'll happily entertain myself! - playing fetch - I'm a champion at chasing down whatever you throw, and I'm working on bringing it back every time (sometimes I like to do my own thing!) - learning new things - I know how to sit as well as trade my toy for a treat. Speaking of, I'm very treat-motivated. My friends here are working with me on new commands and things like nose games, and I'm always ready to try something new. I've done well around other dogs and kids, and I’m also a real fan of cuddles at the end of the day. Really, I just have so much love and excitement I need to share it with you!! So if you’re looking for personality, affection and charm, I can’t wait to meet you! A team member says, "Serena is such a sweet, smart girl. She attaches to you very quickly and will give you plenty of gentle kisses before snuggling up either beside you or on your lap."

Hi all, I am Burrow! Welcome to my page, so happy you've stopped by! I am just sure you are dying to know some things about me, right? Obviously that is why you are here! Well let's see, I am young, full of energy and cautious curiosity at times. But, I really just want to play, cuddle and learn. I have overheard team members mention how "my big droopy eyes" are their weakness. What can I say? I was born this way. Ruff! They've also mentioned how I would be an amazing companion. I am just looking for the right fit. Need I say more? Well then, why don't you come down today and meet me? And please bring the whole family so I can meet everyone. I just can't wait. Ruff!

Story
Our team can’t emphasize enough how full of love this sweet, seven-year-old Cattle Dog mix is! Josie has stolen our hearts with her affectionate and calm personality. She loves to lay in the grass and soak up the sunshine, take slow walks with plenty of time to sniff and explore, play with toys, hang out with her human friends, and is food motivated (there’s no treat left behind with this girl!) Josie knows "sit" and "down" and would love to learn more if treats are involved! A team member says, “Josie loves meeting new people – she rolls over for belly rubs and is just thrilled to be by your side. She is truly a sweetheart who will be a wonderful companion for someone!” Her foster person shares, " I might seem a little hyper and “antsy” here, but it’s just that all the other dogs at the shelter get me a bit upset. I’d really like to be your only dog. At home I’m fairly mellow and would love to hang out on the couch with you and watch a movie, or chew on a bone while you work in the garden. Once it cools off in the evening I’d be happy to go on a walk around the neighborhood—AFTER dinner (I mean really, first things first!). I know I’m a little overweight, but the lady who fostered me the other week gave me the most delicious treats anyway: pieces of cucumber, strawberry tops, romaine lettuce ribs, and ice cubes! I think they were great and I hope you’ll continue giving me these extra special treats even if the vet says I need to be on a diet. I’d be great for an older person who can handle a larger dog and doesn’t travel much, or for a younger person who would rather craft and garden than hike or club. Likes: belly rubs, food, snuggles, food, bacon-flavored Nyla-Bones, food Dislikes: other dogs, car rides, people who won’t stop to pet me Life Goals: to be your shadow….and maybe to steal that chicken breast off the counter."
