🎾Remy🎾 Remy has been through an eight week training course. He knows sit, down, stay (although that one is hard for him!), and he walks nicely on a leash. He has great manners when out of the house and loves everyone he meets. He is young and playful so would enjoy another playful dog companion. Remy is ok with cats but does like to play with them so they may not like him. He occasionally has accidents in the house, but is pretty good about going outside. I’ve taught him how to ring a bell when he wants to go outside and he does, but he also uses it as a tug of war toy. He would thrive in an active family who loves the outdoors. He is definitely a sweet natured boy who will make a great addition to any family

Meet Princess, she loves cuddles and pets and loves to show her belly when she wants attention. She does need someone who will work on behavior with her. She does like to jump and dig as she is a high energy Jack Russel Mix. We hope that walks and exercise will keep her busy in her new home. A requirement to adopt Princess is that she needs to be in a home that has a fence no lower than 5ft and it must be wood or cinderblock as she can possibly climb a chain-link or iron fence. SMOKEY came into our rescue after a near death experience on one of the reservations we work with. He is shy with humans, but was being taken care of by a young girl and her family. Once he knows his humans he is playful and affectionate. Thanks to his family asking for help and our ability to step in with emergency veterinary care and rehab, he is alive, happy and healthy today :-) We estimate he's 2 years old. His adoption fee includes his neuter, vaccines, deworming and microchip. He is housetrained and crate trained. You must live in our adoption area (Abq, Santa Fe, Rio Rancho, Los Alamos). Had a "ruff" start in life but I'm a "Tuff" guy so I'm going to be just fine. Have a variety of freckles but the ring of them around my nose is so precious. I'm a young fellow who isn't a fan of door thresholds. Know that's a little weird but we all have something! I'm beginning to get better with them so stay tuned. The nice volunteers here are helping me with my leash manners and they've discovered that I love water! I seem to get along with other dogs so bring them with you when you come to meet me. We could be the perfect match.
