Story
Meet Cowboy! We can't imagine why this sweet, lovable boy entered the shelter as a stray. Since his arrival, Cowboy has been a quiet, gentle guy who is happiest when he can get outside and put his nose to work. He's almost always nose-to-the-ground, taking in all the scents and exploring the world around him. Cowboy can be nervous about new experiences—who isn't?—like getting in the car or being brushed, but he's a quick learner. Once he tries something and realizes it's not so bad, he's much more comfortable the next time around. He's also a very smart boy who will happily sit or lie down for a treat, and he gives the gentlest kisses and sweetest cuddles. When it comes to dog friends, Cowboy isn't sure what to make of overly energetic or persistent dogs. He's done much better with calmer dogs, so any canine companion would need to be a good match for his personality. Based on his cat testing, Cowboy could potentially live with cats. He is very interested in interacting with them and may even try to play, but he isn't the best at recognizing when they've had enough. Any feline friends would need to be comfortable around dogs and have plenty of opportunities to retreat to their own space when they need a break. Cowboy is looking for a home where he can enjoy plenty of time outdoors and settle in with people who appreciate his gentle nature. Story
🐾 Meet Sadie Breed: Border Collie Mix | Age: Born mid-April 2026 | Size: ~25 lbs and growing Traits: Active, sweet, silly, charming, smart, dog/kid/cat-friendly Spay Date: 9/15/26 Sadie is a smart, sweet girl with a silly personality and plenty of energy! She’s great with kids, dogs, and cats, and is a quick learner who is already excelling at potty training. Sadie settles down very easily and is happy to snuggle or just lay down to chill wherever her people are. Sadie is wonderful on leash and would thrive with an active family ready to keep her mind and body busy. She’s still working on feeling comfortable spending time in her crate: having her own safe space is important as Sadie can experience some separation anxiety about being left alone. With continued patience, training, and plenty of activity, Sadie is sure to grow into an incredible companion. 💕🐾
