Story
Joplin is an approx. 6 year old, 60lb Border Collie/German Shepherd mix. He is smart, goofy, cuddly, and obviously drop dead gorgeous!! Joplin is cat neutral and LOVES to play with other dogs of all sizes. He walks great on a leash and loves playing with toys, crates well, and is potty trained with a routine. He can be a bit reserved in new situations, but he’s got a ton of spunk and a puppy-like personality! Joplin is one of the 7 dogs who came to us from another rescue after being saved from a hoarding situation in KY where dogs were living chained outside in deplorable conditions and despite his previous treatment, he’s a forgiving soul and has all the love in the world left to give to his new forever family. Joplin is fully vetted and ready for adoption, but you can always try our foster-to-adopt program if you want to make sure he’s the perfect fit for you. If you’re interested in adopting Joplin or getting pre-approved for any of our other dogs, please fill out an adoption application at www.rosebudrescue.com/adopt

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet our fuzzy puppy litter: Joey, Monet, Topaz, and Sage! They are an adorable mix of breeds, Their mother weighs around 35 pounds and their unknown father may be a Border Collie or Aussie mix. They are 3 months old currently and will likely weigh between 35 to 50 pounds when they are fully grown. These lovable puppies are incredibly adorable! They are a bundle of energy and love spending their time outside. Although they are learning a lot in their foster home, their real training will begin when they find their forever home. Currently, we are working on basic training such as crate and house training, but once they receive individual attention, they will truly excel!  The puppies are smart, silly, and occasionally stubborn. They are quick learners and love to be challenged with new tricks and commands. When they're not learning new things, they enjoy playing and wrestling with each other, entertaining everyone around them.  One thing that really gets their attention is food! They are highly food-motivated and come running to get their treats. They are very receptive to positive reinforcement training and thrive on praise and affection. With patience, love, and positive reinforcement, these puppies will grow up to be well-behaved, loyal companions, and bring joy to their new families for many years to come. Joey is the only male in the group. With his natural charisma and confident personality, he takes on the role of a leader, guiding the other pups through their daily adventures!  Joey has a soft spot for affection and loves nothing more than snuggling up to his foster mom for kisses and cuddles. His loyal and affectionate nature makes him a favorite of everyone! Joey is up to date with age appropriate vaccines, flea/worm treated, and microchipped,   We require a spay/neuter contract to be signed at the time of adoption (the cost of his neuter is included in the adoption fee and fully explained in the contract).   He is scheduled to be neutered at Operation Pets on April 3rd and it will be the adopter's responsibility to take him to the appointment.  His adoption fee is $450 Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.March 27, 2024, 9:03 am

Story
We got Harley in November of 2022 from Franklinville. He is a great dog and loves to play ball, his chew toy or his kong. He loves to be outside and run. He is very good with our 2 cats that we have he is very gentle with them but also very playful. His birthday is September 12th of 2022. He knows how to sit, give both paws, lay down, sit pretty. He gets fed twice a day with wet and dry food (spoiled). Our work schedules changed, and no one is really home with him and if someone is they have to be sleeping to work the night or overnight shift. He needs a big yard and someone that will have the time to play with him. He loves to snuggle and keep you warm at night.

Disclaimer: I'm currently soaking up the Texas sun, but the great news is that I can be transported to my forever home once adopted, and the transport fee is $230.My journey began when I was surrendered, along with my four precious puppies, because my family couldn't provide the care I needed. I'm a bundle of energy and an incredible jumper! My foster mom thinks I have all the potential to excel in agility training courses. While I absolutely adore the company of other dogs, I'm not a fan of being on my own, so a home with a calmer dog would be a perfect fit to help me settle. I'm a social butterfly who cherishes my human companions and still carries that puppy-like spirit in my heart. In my previous home, I was raised alongside three children, aged 8 to 16, so I'm sure to thrive in an energetic family environment. If you're looking for a furry friend who's ready to embark on adventures with you, look no further. Apply today and let's make a fantastic team!*Disclaimer: This pet is located in Texas. Once adoption is finalized the pet will be transported to the adopters location for an additional fee (currently $230-$250).* The adoption fee helps to cover some of the cost of vetting the animal prior to adoption (spay/neuter, microchipping, and up to date vaccinations). Please fill out an adoption application to be considered for adoption. https://service.sheltermanager.com/asmservice?account=ch2817&method=online_form_html&formid=41
