Story
Meet Alex! Alex is a handsome 1 year old mix breed pup. He is friendly, fun loving and energetic. Alex seems to do well with the other dogs that he’s met at LHS. We are recommending older kids due to his exuberance. Alex will need some work on leash walking with and basic commands. His new owner should have the time, patience and energy to dedicate to him. Alex would be a great companion for an active owner. He would make the best walking or running partner. If Alex sounds like the one for you, please fill out our online application or stop in during open hours. Wednesday 6-8pm or Saturday 12-3p.

Story
Lilo 3 months old Female Australian Shepherd mix Lilo and her siblings found themselves at a rural shelter but thankfully with some teamwork and all hands on deck, they’re so close to settling into the comforts of real homes and we’re so excited for them! They will arrive to the Buffalo, NY area on Sunday 4/26 and are eligible for our foster to adopt program. Foster to adopt will entail a 10 day trial period on a foster basis and the puppy will be examined by our vet during this time. If it’s the right pup for you, you’ll adopt at that time - if not, you’ll continue to foster until a forever home is found! Spay/neuter will be done by our vet at 6 months old and is included in their adoption fee. Please note, there is no meet and greet for foster to adopt - you are agreeing to take the puppy directly off transport since you are not required to adopt if it’s not the right fit. If you’re interested in fostering or adopting a puppy please complete an application at www.rosebudrescue.com/adopt Adopters must be local enough to get them to our vets in the Buffalo/south towns areas for appointments and spay/neuter. *Please keep in mind that it is time consuming for our volunteers to process applications. We ask that you are sure you are ready to welcome a dog into your home and are seriously interested in adopting BEFORE applying.

Story
Hercules  1/10/26  Neutered male  Australian shepherd mix    Hercules was rescued from a Kentucky shelter with his 9 siblings, to say they were petrified when they arrived would be an understatement. He has been adjusting beautifully to his foster home. Hercules can still be weary of loud noises but loves his foster family so we know he will continue to blossom with the right family.    Hercules is  crate trained for 8 hours  sleeps soundly in his crate at night  walks well on a leash  LOVES dogs    Hercules requires another social dog and a fully fenced yard in his forever home (no electric fences).    He is expected to be medium to large once fully grown.    Applications for adoption can be completed on our website: allieandpalsrescue.org/adopt   Hercules adoption fee is $500. He is neutered, microchipped with free lifetime registration (we register the chip for you), up to date on core vaccines, and up to date on prevention.  ##2739749##
