We have a transporter who goes north ever other week. He is very affordable and very professional to work with. Adopt fee $425! This pup is a border collie and appears to be purebred. His birthdate is 1-12-23. This pup is sweet and very willing to please. He is good with other dogs and seems to be ok with cats. He does like to chase but he is a border collie. They herd things...including small children if not supervised. We have started potty training and crate training. This pup needs a home with an experienced adopter. One who has experience with working dogs. This dog will not do well in a home with a person who is NOT active. This pup needs an owner who understands that a border collie needs a job and training. This dog will not do well cooped up in an apartment or a home all day. This boy would excel in training. He is so smart. This pup is neutered, had ALL of his puppy shots, bordetella, rabies and microchipped. He will receive a complete physical and a certificate of health by my vet prior to transport. Carter is a very loving and loyal boy. He wants your love and attention and relishes in belly rubs. He is great around other dogs and kiddos. He has been around cats a did just fine. Carter is good in the house. He is potty trained and loves loves loves to sleep with his foster mom. He is looking for a home that is ready for Love and snuggles. He is full grown and just the perfect size dog! Carter if left unattended can get bored. He has been known to chew a few things and dig if he gets bored. He also needs to be kept a close eye on when it comes to the front door as Mr. Carter has been known to run a time or two at the door. We rescued Letty from South America and brought her here when she was 4 months old. She is a good and sweet girl, loves pets and snuggles, very smart. We did puppy training classes which she did awesome with but we had to stop early when I became too pregnant with our first child. We have since gone on to have now 4 children and find we just don't have the time that Letty deserves. With the lack of attention and not as much time out on walks, she has become more anxious and will need a patient owner who can work with her on this. She is a high-energy dog who would benefit from daily exercise. She is great on a leash but can be reactive especially towards other dogs. She has done great with our very young children, but we maintain boundaries. She loved our cat who passed but the cat did not love her, she would chase the cat but no aggressive behavior to the cat otherwise.

Our pets are fostered and physically located in Mt.Airy, Nc until they are adopted. Once they are adopted we an transport to your location or one of our other north eastern locations. Our transporter runs every other Friday. Baby Girl is a red heeler. She was born 6-27-20. She is a smaller girl, around 35 pounds. It is typical of the females of this breed to be smaller than the males. We pulled her from a high intake shelter knowing she was heartworm positive (not many groups will take heartworm positive dogs due to the large expense of treating them). We had her treated for heartworms and she is cleared to go to her new home now. Baby Girl is an absolute doll of a dog. She is great with people. She likes other dogs and she does not seem to mind the cats here either. She is crate trained and potty trained. She is an active dog, she is a working dog. She needs to be matched up with an active owner who has heeler experience. She will not do well cooped up in a small cramped apartment all day. She would be great to teach agility to or train in other fun games that heelers excel at. She needs a job, even if it is not working cattle(they are cattle dogs)! So it will be up to her person to give her the stimulation and physical activity she will be need. This girl is spayed and will go home current on all vaccines, deworming, flea prevention on heartworm prevention(current negative heartworm test), and microchipped. This girl will receive a completed physical and certificate of health issued by our vet prior to transport. The adopter will get all the health records with the adoption.
