🐾❤️ MEET DIESEL, AKA BLANCO! ❤️🐾This boy really breaks my heart. 💔 We have another Diesel here at the shelter, so we call this handsome guy Blanco!There is something about watching senior dogs sit in a shelter that absolutely breaks me. They should be spending their golden years curled up on someone's couch, being spoiled and loved. Not sitting in a kennel wondering when it's going to be their turn. 😢Blanco is almost 11 years old, and he has been sitting here for 86 DAYS. Not one single person has come to meet him or even inquire about him. NOT ONE. 💔The saddest part? This boy is still in great shape! He has no known health issues, listens extremely well, and is VERY food motivated! Give this boy a treat, and you've got his attention! 😂❤️Blanco has lived with another dog before, so another canine companion may be possible, but a meet and greet is a must. No kitties for this handsome guy!I know some people are afraid to adopt senior dogs. They're afraid of the heartbreak, afraid they won't have enough time. But I also know there are people out there who specifically look for the seniors. The ones who want to give an older dog the best last chapter of their life. ❤️And I'm hoping one of those people sees this post.Blanco doesn't know he's a senior. He doesn't know that people scroll past him because of his age. All he knows is that he's been waiting 90 days for someone to choose him.He's not asking for much. A soft bed, some good food, a little love, and a person to call his own.Please, somebody give this boy a chance. 🥺He may be a senior, but he still has so much love and life left to give. And he deserves to spend whatever years he has left being someone's everything.90 days is long enough. Let's get Blanco HOME. 🐾❤️Please share this handsome boy. His person has to be out there somewhere. ❤️
