Story
💙 Meet Sapphire! 💎 Sapphire is a gorgeous girl with an even more beautiful personality! This affectionate pup loves spending time with her people and is always ready for her next adventure. With her high energy level, she'd thrive with an active family that enjoys hiking, long walks, exploring new places, or simply spending lots of time outdoors. Sapphire gets along well with people and has done well with some dogs, though she tends to enjoy certain canine companions more than others. Because of this, we'd recommend a meet-and-greet with any resident dogs to help ensure a great match. She does have a high prey drive, so a home without small animals may be the best fit. At this time, we haven't had the opportunity to see how she does with cats. If you're looking for a fun, loyal companion who's always up for an adventure and has plenty of love to give, come meet Sapphire today—you just might find your perfect best friend! ✨

Story
Bonnie is looking for her forever family. Are you looking for a wonderful sweet loving, playful and very energetic girl. Bonnie was bought from a breeder to be a breed dog. Fortunately for her she decided to start killing the chickens before she reached breeding age. She is now altered and will never have to have puppies. When she came into her foster home she had not been socialized, had never been on leash or in a crate and had not ridden in a car since she was very tiny. She has spent an eventful few months learning how to be a family pet and live inside. She is fully crate trained and great on leash. She is beginning to trust people and is finally letting people pet her at adoption events. She still doesn't much like riding. She is doing great with housetraining but will probably have some accidents going into new home. She is good with most dogs that are her size but think it would be best for her to have a home without small dogs. She seems to be okay with older kids not sure about really young ones. Bonnie is not a working farm dog. She will need a home with lots of activity to keep her from being bored. She is going to make someone a wonderful companion. Are you that someone? Estimated DOB: 11/30/25 Spayed, microchipped and up to date on vaccines Adoption fee: 350.00

Story
This is Felix. He is super sweet. He has the markings of border collie in a way, but is shaped more like his mom and has short hair. He is lovable. He likes to hang with his brothers and sisters, but will come for attention as well. Housetraining is not 100%, but he is very close. We don't know what breed(s) Felix is. His mom appears to be a Manchester Terrier. Using an online calculator, it is estimated that his full grown weight will be about 50 lbs. We don't know what breed(s) his father is, so we don't know how accurate this is. DOB: 9/30/25. Felix is neutered, had all of his vaccines and been microchipped. Adoption fee: $175 If interested in Felix, please fill out an adoption application: https://new.shelterluv.com/form/other/MFAR/42224-mfar-adoption-application

Story
Now airing: The Bugsy Show. And trust us, you're going to want to watch this one. Meet Bugsy, a 4-year-old, 64-pound Border Collie Mix with an irresistible combination of brains, sweetness, and the cutest little ears you've ever seen. They may be unusually small, but don't let them fool you—those ears work just fine! Bugsy is one smart boy who already knows his sit and down commands, and his amazing temperament makes him a total joy to be around. He gets along great with other dogs and is just as happy hanging out with his people. But Bugsy's favorite episode might be "Snuggles with My Person". If you sit down on the floor, don't be surprised if it's only a matter of time before you have a Bugsy in your lap. Yes, he's 64 pounds. Yes, he still thinks he's a lap dog. And honestly, we're not going to argue with him. Bugsy is the kind of guy who goes with the flow. He's smart, affectionate, easygoing, and just an all-around great boy. He has the kind of temperament that makes him wonderful company, whether he's playing with other dogs or settling in beside you. Bugsy is vaccinated, microchipped, neutered, and he's ready to start the next season of his life with a family of his own. Interested in Bugsy? Fill out a no-obligation adoption application at www.AlmostHomeDogRescueNC.com Follow us on Facebook at @AlmostHomeDogRescueNC for updates on Bugsy and our other adoptable pups. The Bugsy Show is currently casting for one very important role: FOREVER FAMILY.
