Since then, we have been fostering her and have learned a lot about Melly and what she needs in her forever home. Melly is a lovely affectionate girl who makes friends easily. She is great with kids, adults, and the elderly. She meets and greets other dogs very well, usually rolling to her back submissively. While, she interacts well with other dogs, the ideal home for Melly would be one where she is the only dog, as she loves attention and prefers not to share her toys or treats. Melly loves to patrol the fenced-in backyard for squirrels and other invaders. She also loves to go for walks and behaves fairly well on a leash. Melly is exceptional in the car and willing to go anywhere with you. Most of all, Melly just loves spending time with her humans and getting any cuddles she can.
