Story
Hey ya'll! Bellatrix here. It's been awhile since I arrived at PAAS. I certainly did not feel very good when I got here. But truly, look at my glow-up!! I look like a whole different girl!! But, I'm all better now and ready for a new home of my own! The humans say that my manners need some improvement, but once I settle down, I'm a cuddlebug. I can't help myself! I get so excited to see my humans that I jump up and down! I need a job real bad! I like to practice my big scary bark when I meet new people. But it's just so they don't hurt me. I think I have PTSD from my past. I really hope there is someone out there willing to take a chance on me. These guys did, and they saved my life! If you think I'm the girl for you, please give these guys a call. They'll get me a message!

Story
Eddy is a 2-year-old Collie mix and a very HAPPY boy. He loves having dog friends and romping around the yard, and he enjoys channeling his inner “mermaid” by splashing in kiddie pools. Eddy would likely make a great lake or pool buddy for someone who enjoys water adventures just as much as he does. Story
Hi , my name is Ethel and I was brought in with my buddy Lucy. We were found wondering the streets and the nice people at the shelter brought us in to keep us safe. Nobody ever came to take us home , so now we are available for adoption ! I am very submissive and like to keep to myself. Going on walks is fun once I get to know you , but I am very shy when I meet new people. Laying around is also really nice too. There are some female dogs that I do not get along with. I keep my kennel here at the shelter very clean. March 8, 2026, 4:37 pm

Story
Hey there ! My name is Spotticus and I am truly an amazing dog ! My favorite thing in the world is people , especially spending time with them. I walk really well on a leash and even know some basic commands. See I actually was adopted once before and the people dumped me on the side of the road , can you believe that ? I didn't understand what I did wrong , I loved my family so much. But the nice people here at the shelter have taught me what love is again , and I'm really to find my REAL forever home this time. I get along with most of the dogs here at the shelter and keep my kennel really tidy ! I don't chew things up and love to snuggle up on my favorite blanket. May 18, 2026, 1:43 pm

Hi , my name is Lucy and I am looking for my forever home. Like my buddy Ethel said we were found wondering the streets. Nobody came for us so now we are looking for our new best friends ! I really enjoy being around people now that I am comfortable here , but I am the more outgoing and dominate personality between the two of us. There are some female dogs here that I do not get along with. I keep my kennel very clean ! March 8, 2026, 4:37 pm

Story
Hello Hoomans! My name is Bella and I am a 1-2 year old, female Border Collie/Belgian Malinois mix and I am looking for my forever adventure buddy. I am brindle in color and will weigh between 26-60 pounds, making me a medium size girl. That combination of Border Collie and Belgian Malinois means I am very smart, very active and very ready to go, go, go! Before coming to Golden Paws Rescue, life was a little bit rough for me. I was found along a hiking trail in the woods, by a wonderful person, at a time when I was alone, pretty malnourished, confused and somewhat bewildered. This person scooped me up, took me home and cared for me. When I was feeling much better, they decided that they were unable to give me the time, exercise and training that I required and, out of love, took me to Golden Paws Rescue in order for me to find my forever family. My rescuer told me that they were not bringing me here because I had done anything wrong, but because they loved me and wanted the best life possible for me. I love everyone, men, women, and children, but I still have a lot of puppy energy in me, and I may be a little too much for smaller children. I wouldn’t want to accidentally knock any little hoomans down just cause I wanted to play. I really need a person and/or family who are active and enjoy going on long walks and hikes and playing in the yard or dog park. I do very well walking on a leash and can sit on command. After a full day of hiking or playing, I really enjoy going home, curling up next to you and cuddling. So what do you say? I have had all my shots, I have been spayed, and I’m ready to go. If you’re looking for a loyal best friend to hike the trails of life beside you, I’m your girl. Fill out an application, come on in to visit with me and let’s begin our adventures together. Hope to see you soon. Love, Bella EULOGY OF OLD DRUM 1870 “ The one absolutely unselfish friend that a man can have in this selfish world, the one that never deserts him, the one that never proves ungrateful or treacherous, is the dog. “ Senator George G.
