Hey ya'll! Bellatrix here. It's been awhile since I arrived at PAAS. I certainly did not feel very good when I got here. But truly, look at my glow-up!! I look like a whole different girl!! But, I'm all better now and ready for a new home of my own! The humans say that my manners need some improvement, but once I settle down, I'm a cuddlebug. I can't help myself! I get so excited to see my humans that I jump up and down! I need a job real bad! I like to practice my big scary bark when I meet new people. But it's just so they don't hurt me. I think I have PTSD from my past. I really hope there is someone out there willing to take a chance on me. These guys did, and they saved my life! If you think I'm the girl for you, please give these guys a call. They'll get me a message!

Meet Tripod! This sweet baby was found on the side of the highway, accompanied by another dog, with no owners to claim them. He was dirty, matted up, and abandoned. Tripod is likely a male, border collie/aussie mix. He is a sweetie boy who will fall asleep in your lap and loves to run and play despite his bum back leg, which causes him no problems or pain. The vet said he likely has had this condition since a pup and has gotten used to not using that leg. He looks to be only a few years old and is neutered. He is comfortable with handling and hasn't shown any signs of aggression - let's us lift him into the car, demat him (fell asleep in our lap while we cut them out!), and bathe him. As far as being friendly with other animals and food aggression, he has been great with the lab mix we found traveling with him. He's had flea and tick meds, deworming, DAPP & Bordetella vaccines. He's scheduled for rabies vaccines on Sat. the 30th. Message me for more information and interest!

Hi , my name is Ethel and I was brought in with my buddy Lucy. We were found wondering the streets and the nice people at the shelter brought us in to keep us safe. Nobody ever came to take us home , so now we are available for adoption ! I am very submissive and like to keep to myself. Going on walks is fun once I get to know you , but I am very shy when I meet new people. Laying around is also really nice too. There are some female dogs that I do not get along with. I walk really well on a leash and even know some basic commands. See I actually was adopted once before and the people dumped me on the side of the road , can you believe that ? I didn't understand what I did wrong , I loved my family so much. But the nice people here at the shelter have taught me what love is again , and I'm really to find my REAL forever home this time. Bandit is a tripod (front left leg amputee) who has adapted incredibly well and doesn’t let it slow him down. He has been with our family since he was a puppy.We are looking to rehome him because he has become uncomfortable around our youngest child. Because of this, we feel he would do best in a home without children.Bandit does well at dog daycare and enjoys being around other dogs, although he has shown some food aggression at home with our two other dogs. He loves attention, pets, walks, and spending time outdoors.He has also been having accidents in the house and we believe anxiety may be contributing to this behavior. He previously did well with house training.Bandit loves exploring and would do best with a secure fenced yard or an owner who can ensure he stays safely contained.This is a very difficult decision for our family because we love him very much. We want to find a home that is the best fit for his needs and where he can be successful.
