Poor Lucia can make a great bond with some people. However, she can be aggressive at times. She is so loving with the ones she likes. However, to many people she is aggressive. She likes to play and take walks. With those she bonds with she is super affectionate. She loves to lick and curl up with you. She has been the longest dog we have had at our shelter. She has been with us over 4-years.

Story
Meet Katie — a 6-month-old possible Border Collie mix with puppy energy, a sweet soul, and a playful personality that keeps life fun. At around 30 pounds, she’s the perfect size for adventures, couch cuddles, and supervising the household full-time. Katie was found tied to a tree in a busy area, but despite her rough start, she’s remained incredibly loving and gentle. She can be a little timid when meeting new people, but once she knows she’s safe, she turns into a total affection addict who wants nonstop pets and attention. She loves chew toys, gets along great with other dogs and cats, and has fully embraced her self-appointed role of “cat herding specialist.” Katie is also doing wonderfully with crate training and is already showing how smart and eager to learn she is. Katie is looking for a patient, loving family who will continue helping her build confidence and give her the happy ending she deserves. In return, she’ll provide endless laughs, loyal companionship, and plenty of puppy entertainment.

Story
Sirius may be the biggest of his six siblings, but it’s his heart that truly makes him stand out. This good-natured boy is as sweet as they come—content with the simplest joys in life. A gentle “atta boy” or a quick pat is all it takes to make his day complete. With his easygoing spirit and loving nature, Sirius is ready to share his big heart with a family who will cherish him as much as he’ll cherish them. Could you be the one to make Sirius’ simple pleasures last a lifetime? All of our animals are spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, microchipped, heartworm negative, current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention, dewormed, and treated for any ailments encountered during veterinary examinations. The adoption fee covers a portion of these services and makes it possible for us to continue our work. Sublime K9 in Jefferson City has a basic 4 week training program with owner and dog. It covers leash training and basic commands. This program would be available at no cost if Sirius' adopter is interested. An application does not obligate you to adopt. If your application is considered a good fit for the animal you are interested in, or even a different pet, a volunteer will be in touch as soon as possible. Noah’s Arc is manned by volunteers, the shelter is not open to the public. Meet and greets for the animals are by appointment only.

Story
Sienna's Story Meet Sienna, one of two females in a litter full of rambunctious brothers! While her brothers may steal the spotlight with their rough-and-tumble antics, Sienna is a quiet observer, taking it all in with a thoughtful gaze. She may be a bit shy at first, but don’t be fooled—this little lady has a diva just waiting to shine! With a little love and patience, Sienna will step into her confidence, showing off her sweet charm and playful spirit. She’s looking for a forever home where she can blossom into the queen she was meant to be, ruling her kingdom with equal parts grace and sass. Could you be the one to help Sienna find her inner diva? Sienna is a naturally sensitive girl, and we’ve learned that a home with young children would not be the best fit for her. Busy environments can overwhelm her, and she does best with patience, consistency, and a calm atmosphere where she can feel secure. Her siblings have very similar personalities and are now thriving in homes with adults, empty nesters, or families with older children (9+ years old). She would love a family willing to help show her the ropes and continue building her confidence at her own pace. Sienna absolutely loves the companionship of other dogs and may do best in a home with another friendly adult dog or even a younger playful pup. Having a canine companion really helps her feel safe and comfortable. Once she settles in, she forms strong bonds and is such a sweet, loving companion. Sublime K9 in Jefferson City has a basic 4 week training program with owner and dog. It covers leash training and basic commands. This program would be available at no cost if Sienna's adopter is interested. All of our animals are spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, microchipped, heartworm negative, current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention, dewormed, and treated for any ailments encountered during veterinary examinations. Story
Hi! I'm very playful, affectionate, energetic and athletic! I'd love to have a big yard and a person who has time to play with me. I know some basic obedience commands and I love to learn new skills. I like other dogs very much too. I was tested with cats but one hissed at me and after that I was scared to even look at her. Tennis balls and food are my favorite ❤️

Sweet Pea's Story Born: October 30, 2025 Projected Adult Size: Under 35 lbs Status: Bottle-Raised • Thriving • Accepting Adoption Applications Now Meet this joyful little miracle! This pup came into the world by accident—her mom, Eggnog, was discovered to be pregnant during a routine spay appointment. After giving birth to a litter of seven, Eggnog unfortunately rejected the babies a few days later. Thankfully, an experienced GreenePets foster stepped up immediately. She has been bottle-raising four of the puppies around the clock, giving them the best possible start to life. These babies are thriving, full of energy, and embracing life with all the enthusiasm you’d expect from confident, well-socialized pups. This baby doggie will likely stay under 35 pounds when fully grown. Well handled lovingly since birth and will make an exceptional companion for a family who’s ready for puppy energy, structure, and lots of affection. Why Apply Now? These pups will be ready for adoption soon, and we expect a lot of interest given their size, temperament, and early handling. Start your application process now to be considered when they’re ready to go home.

Visit www.wtfarmtn.org to submit an adoption application. All dogs are age-appropriately vetted: - Spayed/Neutered (3+ months old) - Vaccinated - DAPPv (6+ weeks old), Bordetella (6+ weeks old) & Rabies (3+ months old) - Microchipped - Dewormed & Other Internal Parasite Prevention/Treatments - Broad-spectrum as well as Tapeworm, Coccidia & Giardia - Flea, Tick & Heartworm Prevention/Treatments Visit Alabama's Facebook photo album for more photos: https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.1050705513905100&type=3 With the community's help, we saved a group of 4 Heeler Mixes from euthanasia in mid-2025. Meet Alabama, one of the lucky ones! Just a month later, he was already beginning to trust, explore, and engage with the world around him. Since then he has been fully vetted and graduated from training. He is now leash, crate and house trained, and knows basic commands. Alabama does well with other dogs and has been around cats and house/pet pigs with no issues. We would recommend teens+ given that Alabama is still a work in progress. Fenced in yard highly recommended. While this 6 year old is not quite ready to snuggle on the couch just yet, we know that the journey with him will be full of heart, patience, and deep rewards. Alabama is searching for a hero of his own. Someone who understands that healing takes time and love, and who's ready to show Alabama just how good life in a real home can be. Could that be you?
