Story
This is Miller, a blue heeler/Australian shepherd mix who will turn 4 on June 7th. He is an excellent house-trained dog who loves spending time outside and would truly thrive as a farm dog. He gets along well with other animals he has been around, mostly dogs and he even has a great bond with a pig! Miller loves playing with all kinds of toys, and he is pretty talented at tossing them in the air himself to catch. While he will do best with a fenced yard because of his love for the outdoors, it’s not absolutely necessary. Just be sure to keep him leashed when outside, as he has a habit of wandering off, though he always comes back home. If you have a large farm or property, he wont stray too far. His natural herding instincts make him a perfect fit for farm life!

Story
Marmaduke is a big goofy lovebug! He adores children and other dogs. He is very curious about cats and chickens and is probably best in a home without those (or where he can be separated from them). He is only about 1 year old and has been in rescue all his life. He had a medical issue as a puppy that required surgery and he is completely healed from that. He will do best in a home with a secure fenced yard, another dog or dogs to play with that are not tiny since he's so big, and respectful animal-loving children that will love him as much as he loves them. If you are interested in Marmaduke, please fill out an application at our website: forrescue.net He is fostered in the Huntsville, AL area and could be available for transport but transport fees are on top of the adoption fee.
