Story
Meet Astoria! Breed: Labrador Retriever / Great Pyrenees Mix Astoria has spent her entire life waiting for someone to choose her. If you've ever driven to Panther Creek State Park, chances are you've passed the large enclosure that once housed more than 15 dogs. Astoria was born there and spent her life outdoors alongside her family. When her owner became incarcerated, family members sought help, giving Astoria the second chance she'd never had before. Today, she's flourishing in foster care through the Morristown-Hamblen Humane Society. Astoria is incredibly sweet and affectionate, with a gentle personality that makes everyone fall in love with her. She loves people, enjoys attention, and is discovering how wonderful life can be when you're surrounded by kindness and care. She has so much love to give and deserves a family who will show her everything she's missed. Could Astoria be the missing piece your family has been searching for? Noah's Arc Animal Rescue is partnering with the Morristown-Hamblen Humane Society to help Astoria find her forever home.

Story
Meet Sienna! Some dogs win you over the moment you meet them. Sienna is different—she'll win your heart for a lifetime. Sienna is a beautiful young girl with a gentle, sensitive soul. She isn't the type to rush up to greet every new person, but that's part of what makes her so special. She likes to take her time, quietly observing the world until she feels safe. Once she knows she can trust you, her walls come down, revealing an incredibly sweet, loyal companion who simply wants to be close to the people she loves. Watching Sienna's confidence grow has been one of the greatest joys for our volunteers. Every small victory—a wagging tail, a playful moment, or choosing to lean in for affection—feels like a huge accomplishment. She's learning every day that the world can be a safe place, and she's ready for a family who will continue that journey with her. Because busy environments can be overwhelming, Sienna would do best in a calm, predictable home with adults, empty nesters, or a family with older children (9+). She thrives with patience, routine, and gentle encouragement, and she'll reward your kindness with unwavering loyalty. One thing Sienna is never shy about? Other dogs. She absolutely loves having canine friends and gains confidence from their presence. We'd love to see her join a home with another friendly, well-adjusted dog who can help show her the ropes and be her built-in best friend. To help Sienna and her new family start off on the right paw, her adopter may take advantage of a complimentary four-week basic obedience program through Sublime K9 in Jefferson City. The program focuses on leash skills, basic commands, and building a strong bond between dog and owner. Sienna isn't looking for a perfect family—she's looking for a patient one. Someone who understands that the best relationships are built on trust, and that helping a shy dog blossom is one of the most rewarding experiences you'll ever have. When Sienna finally realizes she's home, you'll have a best friend for life. Sienna is: * Young adult * Spayed * Dog-friendly * Best suited for a calm home * Recommended for homes with adults or children 9+ years old * Eligible for a complimentary four-week training program through Sublime K9 * Ready to find the forever family she's been waiting for *About Noah's Arc Animal Rescue* Noah's Arc Animal Rescue is a foster-based nonprofit rescue located in East Tennessee. Our pets are spayed/neutered, microchipped, up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccinations, current on flea/tick prevention, dewormed, and examined by a veterinarian. Meet Oreo! Breed: Labrador Retriever / Great Pyrenees Mix Oreo is living proof that a difficult past doesn't have to define the future. If you've ever driven to Panther Creek State Park, chances are you've passed the large enclosure that once housed more than 15 dogs. Oreo was born there and spent his entire life outdoors with his family. When his owner became incarcerated, family members finally reached out for help, allowing Oreo to begin a brand-new chapter. His tail is always wagging, his smile is contagious, and he loves everyone he meets. Oreo is affectionate, playful, and eager to be wherever his people are. Despite never having experienced life inside a home, he's embraced every bit of love that's come his way. Oreo has waited his whole life for a family to call his own. Story
Arlo was adopted before going to a shelter as a small puppy approx 8-10 weeks old. He is house trained and will go to the door when needing to potty. Arlo is now 8-9 months old and we are not able to give him the space or exercise that he needs. He is a high energy dog and would be best suited with a yard where he can rome or with an active owner. He enjoys long hikes. Arlo does well with my almost two year old daughter and five year old pitt-bull. Please feel free to ask any questions. I'm hopefully he will find his forever home.

Story
I adopted Arlo to keep him from going to the shelter as a small puppy. He is now 5-6 years old. Gets along well with our other dog and cat.. Arlo is a high energy breed and would be his best self with a job. He is mostly house trained and crate trained. He knows a few commands such as sit, lay down, and roll over. I wish to find Arlo a home where he can Rome freely or go on long hikes with his person. Please feel free to contact me for any further details :)
