Oliver may be Border collie mixed, they he is about 10 months old, very playful and energetic. He can’t wait to meet his new forever family.Out of respect for our foster’s time and privacy we do NOT arrange meet and greets without an application on file. Therefore the first step in our adoption process is to fill out the form on our website. We have one form that is printable and one that is an on-line fillable form. Our agency is ran by volunteers. We will get back to you as quickly as we can. If you have specific questions please email us at graingerhumane@yahoo.com. We do not have a shelter location with regular hours. All of our dogs are in foster homes. All dogs are fully vaccinated and spayed or neutered before adoption. https://graingercountyhumanesociety.org/available-dogsNovember 15, 2024, 10:34 pm

Courtesy Post: Owner Surrender/Rehoming- Knoxville, TN *This dog doesn’t belong to ASF and hasn’t been evaluated by ASF.* Meet Sumner! She is an 8 year old Australian Shepherd and weighs 50 lbs. She is spayed, up to date on shots, and on heartworm prevention. Sumner is nervous around strangers and younger children! She is good with older children! She hasn’t been tested around cats. No dogs, due to her reactivity! Sumner nipped a man working in the yard. She also nipped two kids who were running. Sumner takes medication for her hyperactivity. The owner is surrendering her because she nips other people and dogs. She needs to go ASAP! If you think you can provide a great home for Sumner, please contact the owner listed below. Story
River is a 4 year old female Australian Shepherd. Registered, spayed, healthy and current on vaccinations. She is shy, calm (unlike most aussies), submissive and very sweet. We are looking to rehome her only because we;ve discovered that my daughter is allergic to dogs. River bonds quickly to primarily one person in the family and prefers females. Her favorite things are to be near and petted by her person and playing outside. She likes other dogs, gets along with our persnickety cat and doesn't bother the chickens. She loves the outdoors regardless of the weather. She is calm and sweet, but also loves to run and play, especially with another dog with similar temperament and personality. So she would be happiest in a home with another dog as a buddy. Incredibly intelligent. Very sweet dog to loving home only. Phone calls please.
