Story
Here’s Apollo’s updated bio with a stronger emotional pull: Meet Apollo — Still Waiting for His Turn Apollo is now 1 year old, and while he has watched so many of his friends leave for their forever homes, he is still waiting. He watches them go, one by one, and he simply doesn’t understand why no one has chosen him yet. Apollo is a happy, energetic boy who is absolutely full of life. He loves to play, explore, learn, and be part of everything happening around him. He has so much love to give and is ready for a family who will include him in their adventures and help him continue becoming the incredible dog we already know he is. Behind all that energy is a sweet boy who just wants to belong. Apollo has waited long enough. He deserves to know what it feels like to be the one packing his bags, saying goodbye, and heading home. Please don’t let Apollo watch another friend leave without him. Could you be the family he has been waiting for? visit www.pawsinprisontx.org ##2579831##

Story
He’s a very good dog, if I was in the position to keep him I would. He’s good with kids and other dogs. I’ve noticed that he’s a bit sceptical around men, he doesn’t do anything he just jumps back and barks, but as soon as he gets to know you he’s very sweet. I’ve been taking him on walks and as soon as I get off from work for about 20-30 minutes. He’s potty trained, hasn’t gone potty in the house.

Story
Arlow is a super smart, talkative, happy, sweet, loving pup who would make a great addition to anyone’s family! He’s been mine & my 73 year old moms companion for the last 3 1/2 years. He is potty trained & good on a leash. Knows sit, paw, stay, wait, leave it commands. He loves to play tug so much he gets vocal with growls but in no way is it aggressive, it’s pure “I love this game” growls. He loves humans & if you are his human he will greet you at the door with grins & a paw bow & salute. He does good if left home alone so no need to worry about your walls or furniture. He loves to run around if a fenced in yard is available. He is a very loving dog who enjoys all the scratches & if possible for a spot to rest by a window he loves to watch the birds & squirrels & the world outside. He has learned over these past 3 years to be aware of my mom’s disabilities/health issues. Since her health is declining she would like our boy to go to a home that can care for him the way he deserves.
