Story
Meet Bravo — the rugged-hearted softie who’s ready for his forever person. Bravo spent his early years surviving on the outskirts of Austin, and while he’s only about three years old, his weathered good looks tell the story of a dog who’s had to be braver than most. Don’t let that tough-guy exterior fool you, though—underneath is a devoted, soulful companion who wants nothing more than to be by his person’s side, always. Bravo's ideal day looks simple: you, a cozy spot nearby, a little playtime, and maybe—definitely—a snack (or twelve). Bravo loves food more than life itself and would probably trade a toe, a tail, or your last potato chip for a bite. He’s also a ball-chasing enthusiast, though he hasn’t fully bought into the whole “bring it back” part of the deal. He’s thinking about it… maybe. Bravo will entertain younger, playful dogs, but he’s not looking for a wrestling buddy. His true passion is companionship, not chaos. And when it’s time for a walk? Bravo is a dream. He’s excellent on leash—no pulling, no reacting, just a steady, gentlemanly stroll at your side. Bravo is ready for a home where he can finally relax, feel safe, and soak up all the love he’s missed. If you’re looking for a loyal shadow with a tough past, a tender heart, and a snack-based worldview, Bravo is your guy. Bravo survived the streets. Now he’s ready to thrive—with you.

Charles

Border Collie Great Pyrenees

Male, 11 mos
Austin, TX
Size
(when grown) Large 61-100 lbs (28-45 kg)
Details
Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Sitter needed: 04/03/26 - 04/08/26 and/or 04/16/26 - 04/19/26 Charles is a loveable goofball. He is 11 months old so he is still full of puppy energy. He is extremely smart and treat motivated so he is thriving with training and already knows many commands and tricks (sit, down, crate/bed, stay, come, touch nose, shake, and spin, to name a few!). He LOVES other dogs and would do best in a home with another dog for him to play with. He gets along just fine with cats (although he likes them more than they like him). He has not had exposure to kids, and would likely do better in an adult only household. Because he has herding breeds in his mix, Charles does best with routine, clear expectations, and regular mental stimulation. He can be unsure when meeting new people, so he’ll need an adopter who can provide patience, consistency, and ongoing training. Once he settles in and feels secure, he becomes a relaxed, engaged, and enjoyable companion

Good with kids, Good with dogs, Needs experienced adopter, House-trained, Spayed or Neutered, Shots are up-to-date,
Story
Bronx was adopted from the Humane Society of Silicon Valley (HSSV) on April 23, 2023. He was 11 weeks old and weighed 9.20 lbs. and presumed to be a Border Collie Mix but staff was unsure what he was mixed with. Since his adoption he has completed the required Puppy Training course provided by HSSV while also receiving continued training by his family. Bronx is potty trained, knows the basic commands (sit, stay, leave it, etc..) but could benefit from more extensive and regular training and strong leadership from pack leader or family. Bronx loves to run, fetch and socialize with other dogs and people. He has been trained to be both on and off leash and responds to commands when off leash; but keep in mind he's still a puppy and sometimes gets distracted and may need commands repeated. Bronx also can get a little over excited when it comes to meeting other dogs and people and may jump on them or at them to greet them. BRONX IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN CALIFORNIA.

Story
Mousey is an adorable dog and will make a perfect family pet! She loves all other dogs and romps and plays all day at the ranch with many other breeds...kind of like a dog park in reverse. She came from a very high-kill shelter in California and had been dumped as a puppy in the hard streets of a high-crime area. She had one friend in the world, Sopita, who was also saved by Dogtown. When she first got to the ranch, she could not be separated from her friend, but she quickly found a hundred other buddies and learned that life can be a good thing after all. Mousey loves to play, chase a ball and also fun to cuddle. Please get in touch and meet our precious Mousey who wants a family to call her own.May 22, 2024, 5:48 am

All of her littermates died, but thanks to Dogtown, Lucy has survived. She is super gentle and a very calm dog for a little puppy. Super dog friendly and gets along with all the other dogs at Dogtown. Please give us a call today to arrange a meeting with our precious Little Lucy.May 22, 2024, 5:48 am
