Story
I’m Ricky Bobby, and I want to go fast! True to my border collie genetics, I love to show off my speed, intelligence, and focus. I’m looking for a new home that can keep me busy playing and training, as I need to keep my brain (and body) busy! Originally a stray, CVHS has no backstory on how he is with other canines, felines, or children. Our veterinarian has estimated his age at 2 years old, and he has lots of young energy to channel into fun activities with you! He has seen other dogs at the vet`s office, and at CVHS, with no negative reactions. We will continue to learn more about him as we spend more time with him, and introduce him to our other dogs once he`s healed from his neuter. He has loved every person he`s met, and in between playing, training, herding, running, he loves a quick snuggle. Ricky Bobby is very energetic, but he`s also very gentle. With his breed traits, Ricky needs a home that is familiar with collies, and older children are preferred. A 5-week Good Manners training course is included in Ricky Bobby`s $350.00 adoption fee. Please call the Adoption Center at 802-476-3811, or email info@centralvermonthumane.org, to schedule a time to talk to an adoption counselor about him, and to determine if you should meet Ricky Bobby.

💛🐾 ADOPT CLAY — THE SWEETEST LITTLE SHADOW 🐾💛 Clay is a 5-month-old, 16-lb bundle of love who’s ready to brighten someone’s world! This handsome little guy is expected to stay small (around 25 lbs fully grown), making him the perfect size for any home or lifestyle. Clay absolutely adores other dogs and thrives in their company. He’s playful, social, and full of puppy joy — but he’s just as happy curling up in your lap for snuggles. This boy is incredibly loyal to his person, always wanting to be close and involved. Smart, affectionate, and eager to please, Clay is the kind of dog that bonds deeply and loves with his whole heart. He'd make an amazing companion for families, singles, retirees, or anyone looking for a best friend. ✨ Clay is dog-friendly, loving, loyal, intelligent, and perfect for any home.
