Story
Meet Patsy! Patsy is a young Border Collie with all the energy, enthusiasm, and smarts you’d expect from the breed. She’s always ready to play, explore, and learn, and she’ll thrive with someone who enjoys an active lifestyle and wants a fun, engaging companion by their side. Patsy does have a history of resource guarding, so she will need to be fed separately from other animals in the home. For everyone’s safety and comfort, she’s also looking for a home without small animals. With structure, consistency, and a bit of patience, she’ll be well on her way to being her best self. If you’re ready for an energetic partner who loves to be on the move, come meet Patsy! She may just be the perfect match.

Story
Very energetic and active. Smart. Likes to play rough. Not for someone who doesnt like to be active or lazy. I am the only one he has known. Needs room to run. Likes to run his mouth, not bark but talk like me lol. I live in an apartment. We are to loud. Good ranch dog or someone with yard. But he doesnt like guns. Loves to play catch, playing football and can tackle .very fast, chase rabbits and squirrels long walks, snow. Cold is not a problem. Can handle outside with doghouse, spent over year in Michigan on brothers ranch with kennel and house. I spoiled him. So did alot of others. Loves attention. Loves his snacks sleeps my bed against my feet and back. 4 years old. Got him when he was 2 months old from moorcroft. Loves car rides and the park. Have been to almost every park in Gillette and knows tons of neighborhoods walked all over for years. I cant give him what he needs. Do have plenty of his toys to go with him. Walks on leash but can pull. Strong. Good guard dog.

Good with cats,
Story
This little cutie is Georgia. She is searching for a new home. She'd really love to be the center of attention in her new home. She may be able to live with another dog but really thrives on her human connections. She is shy at first, but once she trusts you, she'll be glued to your hip. Fun fact about Georgia... she is an excellent biking partner! She runs alongside the bicycle perfectly. She has been around cats, and if they are also chill, she is ok around them. Georgia really does not care for kids at all, so she'll need an adult only home. A home where she has some land to run her energy off or a large backyard to explore. Apply to meet this petite gal today!

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Orbit is a smart, loyal, and affectionate girl who loves her people and enjoys being part of the daily routine. She’s the perfect mix of playful energy and cozy companionship, happy to join you for a hike, a game of fetch, or to curl up beside you after a long day. Orbit has great house manners, is fully crate-trained, and knows several commands including sit, down, shake, and come. She walks nicely on leash (especially when there are treats involved!) and has solid recall in calm, low-distraction areas. She’s also a big fan of chew bones, squeaky toys, and belly rubs.   This beautiful black-and-white girl thrives with structure and gentle guidance. She’s happiest in a calm home where her people are experienced and can help her continue to feel secure. Because she can be selective around other dogs and has not lived with cats, Orbit would likely do best as the only pet in the household. She’s not suited for a home with children, but will make a deeply devoted companion for an adult-only household that appreciates her affectionate, intelligent nature.   Orbit is a wonderful mix of fun, loyalty, and love. She’s looking for a person or couple who can offer her consistency, exercise, and lots of love. Once she bonds with you, she’s your loyal shadow, ready for every walk, road trip, or quiet evening on the couch.   If you’re looking for a smart, loving companion who will adore you endlessly, Orbit might be your perfect match.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.  At Laramie Animal Welfare Society, the first step to adoption is completing an adoption application on our website www.laramieanimals.org. Once submitted, your application will be reviewed by our adoption team which typically takes 7+ days.  Keep in mind, the animal you’re interested in when applying may be adopted and no longer available by the time your application is approved. We do not place animals on hold.   Pending approval, your application is valid for 6 months. Also pending approval, you will receive contact information, so that you may inquire about the personalities of specific animals. Adoptions for individual animals will occur by private adoption appointment. Because we are 100% foster-based, appointments are scheduled pending staff, foster home, and vetting schedules.  Should you want to proceed with the adoption, a brief appointment will occur at our adoption center to sign adoption paperwork, receive medical records, and pay the adoption fee.    **Dog/Puppy applications -  Because of the large volume of dog/puppy applications we are receiving these applications may take longer to process, please be patient. We do not do first come first serve but we place the dog/puppy in the best suited home. If you have questions about the Dog/Puppy process please email lawsdogprogram@gmail.com** October 31, 2025, 1:48 pm
