Story
Hi I am Gunner! I am a social boy who loves people, pets and any kind of attention. I would do best in a house as the only dog and no chickens. I am allergic to food that has chicken in it, but I am already house broken and previously lived around horses, cows and kids and did well. I am already neutered, microchipped and vaccinated. Please ask an employee about me if you are interested in taking me home. I will be available for adoption starting 1-28-26.

Story
Raya is learning how to be a dog! She was kept in a crate her whole life and bred a few times. So now she's able to sort out what she's all about, so she's very energetic and loves to run! She likes people and discovering that she actually likes dogs too. She would make a great friend for someone active and patient!

Story
*** AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION, FOSTER, or FOSTER TO ADOPT *** Meet Larkin! She is currently enrolled in our P.A.C.K. Program, a 9-week intensive program for routine obedience, agility, and handling training with a prison inmate trainer and she is almost ready to show off her new skills! Her new abilities include 'sit', 'down', 'shake' and more! New adopters should realize that PACK Program graduates will require regular, ongoing reinforcement of learned behaviors in order for them to become permanent. Larkin is described as a gentle and sweet gal who aims to please. She is always up to meeting new human friends and hasn't met a person she didn't like. When she's done playing, she's all for snuggling with her people. She does well with other dogs and her recall is impeccable. She doesn't always love to be home alone, but with patience and practice she's been getting better. One thing Larkin loves? Water! She's a water dog. She enjoys playing in her water dish, so you may have to keep it full for her! Larkin has some pretty decent hops and has gracefully hopped a 3-4' fence before. She'll need a secure 6' fence in her new home. Before she went to PACK she lived with cats in her foster home. She didn't seem to bug them. We believe she can successfully live with them. If you’re looking for a gentle loving companion who will keep you laughing and who's a great snuggle buddy, Larkin may be for you. She'll graduate towards the middle of February. Apply to meet her today!

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Orbit is a smart, loyal, and affectionate girl who loves her people and enjoys being part of the daily routine. She’s the perfect mix of playful energy and cozy companionship, happy to join you for a hike, a game of fetch, or to curl up beside you after a long day. Orbit has great house manners, is fully crate-trained, and knows several commands including sit, down, shake, and come. She walks nicely on leash (especially when there are treats involved!) and has solid recall in calm, low-distraction areas. She’s also a big fan of chew bones, squeaky toys, and belly rubs.   This beautiful black-and-white girl thrives with structure and gentle guidance. She’s happiest in a calm home where her people are experienced and can help her continue to feel secure. Because she can be selective around other dogs and has not lived with cats, Orbit would likely do best as the only pet in the household. She’s not suited for a home with children, but will make a deeply devoted companion for an adult-only household that appreciates her affectionate, intelligent nature.   Orbit is a wonderful mix of fun, loyalty, and love. She’s looking for a person or couple who can offer her consistency, exercise, and lots of love. Once she bonds with you, she’s your loyal shadow, ready for every walk, road trip, or quiet evening on the couch.   If you’re looking for a smart, loving companion who will adore you endlessly, Orbit might be your perfect match.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.  At Laramie Animal Welfare Society, the first step to adoption is completing an adoption application on our website www.laramieanimals.org. Once submitted, your application will be reviewed by our adoption team which typically takes 7+ days.  Keep in mind, the animal you’re interested in when applying may be adopted and no longer available by the time your application is approved. We do not place animals on hold.   Pending approval, your application is valid for 6 months. Also pending approval, you will receive contact information, so that you may inquire about the personalities of specific animals. Adoptions for individual animals will occur by private adoption appointment. Because we are 100% foster-based, appointments are scheduled pending staff, foster home, and vetting schedules.  Should you want to proceed with the adoption, a brief appointment will occur at our adoption center to sign adoption paperwork, receive medical records, and pay the adoption fee.    **Dog/Puppy applications -  Because of the large volume of dog/puppy applications we are receiving these applications may take longer to process, please be patient. We do not do first come first serve but we place the dog/puppy in the best suited home. If you have questions about the Dog/Puppy process please email lawsdogprogram@gmail.com** January 21, 2026, 11:41 am
