This beauty is Ellie. She is a fairly calm girl who is searching for a new home. She does fine with other dogs and coexist but would really love a human to completely dote on her. She has been around children & cats and does fine around both of them. Ellie is crate trained and house trained. She could use a little work on her leash skills, but that doesn't deter her from wanting a nice evening stroll! Her sweet and soulful eyes are really all you need to jump in and say "yes" to Ellie. Story
*** AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION, FOSTER, or FOSTER TO ADOPT *** Meet Shelby! She is currently in our P.A.C.K. Program, a 9-week intensive program for routine obedience, agility, and handling training with a prison inmate trainer and she is almost ready to show off her new skills! Her new abilities include 'sit', 'down', 'shake' and more! New adopters should realize that PACK Program graduates will require regular, ongoing reinforcement of learned behaviors in order for them to become permanent. Miss Shelby has a sensitive soul. She can be scared and nervous when she meets people. She enjoys cuddling once she knows you. She can coexist with other dogs but doesn't interact much with them. She'd rather lounge around and lay in the best sunspots. She does enjoy a nice short walk from time to time but doesn't need too much exercise. She actually protests exercise sometimes, faking a fall and laying down on a walk refusing to go further. This happens when she decides the walk has been long enough. Shelby is kennel trained and house trained. Due to her nervousness, she will need a 6' fence to keep her safely contained in her new yard. If your heart is searching for new soulful and fairly calm companion, apply to meet Shelby today. She'll graduate mid-April.

Story
Meet Thalin the Warrior — brave adventurer, certified good boy, and proud owner of the most contagious smile in the land! Fresh off his journey from New Mexico, Thalin is ready to recruit his very own traveling party and set off on a lifetime of quests (snacks included, of course). This heroic goofball is always ready for action—whether that’s conquering the great outdoors, embarking on epic walkies, or simply collecting as many hugs as possible along the way. His ideal companion? Someone who appreciates enthusiastic greetings, gives top-tier belly rubs, and understands that treats are, in fact, a vital resource. Thalin gets along great with both humans and fellow pups, making him a versatile party member for just about any household. With endurance that rivals a seasoned adventurer, he’s ready for any season, any activity, and any excuse to have fun. Rain, snow, sunshine? Thalin says, “Let’s go!” Now, every great warrior has a quirk—and Thalin’s is his over-the-top excitement. Sometimes his happiness crits a little too hard and he can get a bit jumpy in the name of love. But with some gentle guidance and redirection, he quickly realizes, “Oops, went full hero mode there,” and settles back into being the best boy ever. If your party feels like it’s missing a loyal companion, a walking ray of sunshine, and a whole lot of joyful chaos, Thalin is ready to join your quest. Adventure awaits!!

Story
Maltz is currently located at the Everyday Adoption Center in Westminster (10460 Town Center Dr, Westminster, CO, 80021) and can be visited from 10am-6pm Sat/Sun and 12pm-7pm Mon-Fri! Email our Everyday Adoption Center team at EAC@savinganimalstoday.org for more information! Meet Maltz, a joyful, affectionate boy who isn’t shy about showing how much he loves you! His favorite way to say hello is by jumping up to give you a hug, and when he gets excited, his whole body wiggles with happiness. Maltz has a big personality and an even bigger heart, and he brings so much fun and energy wherever he goes. Because of his enthusiastic greetings and jumpy, wiggly nature, Maltz would do best in a home with kids aged 14 and older who can handle his excitement and help reinforce good manners. He gets along well with other dogs and would enjoy having canine friends to play with or simply relax beside. Maltz is a loving, happy pup who just wants to share his affection with everyone around him. With continued guidance and a family who appreciates his playful spirit, he’ll make an incredibly fun and devoted companion. Volunteers say: "Maltz is as soft as a baby bunny and just as sweet!" "Maltz is the perfect pup...so well-behaved and calm for his age, and he sits well for treats." "Maltz has the sweetest face and the softest fur. He has the body of a puppy, but has wonderful manners and is the best cuddle bug." "Maltz is the perfect pup...he's so well-behaved and smart. He sits unprompted for treats!"

Story
Indie is a silly, intelligent, energetic 4-year-old Border Collie/Pyrenese mix looking for a great home. Indie loves off leash adventures, laying near her person(s) at all times, meeting new people and playing (she’s a HUGE fan of tug and is becoming an avid fetcher!) She is a great roadtrip, camping, hiking/running and cuddle buddy; and would thrive in a home that is committed to her varied enrichment and exercise every day. Indie is crate trained, has a solid sit, down and recall and always loves learning. Indie is sensitive and eager to learn, with the occasional streak of stubborn independence. She would do best in a home without children or cats as she can be excitable and occasionally mouthy. This sweet girl can also be shy around dogs (but becoming more comfortable every day!) as she has a history of fear reactivity, but she is very food motivated which makes her easy to manage. Indie has been a gift to raise but I am no longer able to keep up with her needs due to health issues

These pups are in Cheyenne, Wyoming too!

Not good with kids, Not good with dogs, Not good with cats, House-trained, Spayed or Neutered, Shots are up-to-date,
Story
I adopted Ruby in 2021 from Larimer Humane Society in Colorado. At the time I was single and was able to provide her with a home and all the attention she needed. Once I got into a relationship another pet came along. I knew she wasn't good with other dogs from the adoption history but the interactions I had with friend's dogs are good as long as they are calm dogs. She is aging and is now just about 8 years old and she is getting a bit more temperamental around other animals. She is a sweetheart and loves playing and cuddling. She loves attention and will do anything to spend time with you! She is kennel trained but does not need to be. She is an amazing dog, and very well trained too. I would much rather rehome her - I want her to go to a great home. She is up to date on all vaccines, and she had a clean bill of health from the vet in 2025.

Story
Meet Kymber — the older but wiser gal looking for her next chapter! Kymber is a loyal, loving heeler whose world was turned upside down when her owner passed away. Now, she’s hoping to find a new family to share her heart with. She’s a gentle soul who seems to do well around children — though, true to her heeler nature, she may try to herd their little heels now and then! Kymber does best without dogs and cats in the home and will become stressed when confronted with them when outside. She's a smart dog with a love of learning and very treat motivated. Kymber is a great and loving dog, but she will thrive best in a home that understands the smart and determined heeler breed. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who still has plenty of love (and a bit of spunk!) to give, Kymber might just be the perfect match. 💛

*** AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION, FOSTER, or FOSTER TO ADOPT *** Meet Summit! He is currently in our P.A.C.K. Program, a 9-week intensive program for routine obedience, agility, and handling training with a prison inmate trainer and he is almost ready to show off his new skills! His new abilities include 'sit', 'wave', 'shake' and more! New adopters should realize that PACK Program graduates will require regular, ongoing reinforcement of learned behaviors in order for them to become permanent. Summit is up for just about anything! He is ready to play all day or lounge around cuddled up on the couch with you. He wants attention & love from just about anyone looking to give it. He really likes to play with other dogs too. He may need reminders to not be rough and to take breaks, but he listens well. While we think he'll do fine with kids - he may jump on them & not realize he can knock them down. When we introduced Summit to our cat, he didn't seem to care. We do think with supervision and time he should be able to successfully live with them. He is crate trained, and it's something we highly recommend for him. He's shown us he can be a naughty puppy when he is left to his own devices. Summit is a really happy go lucky pup looking for a fresh start. He might just be what you are looking for. He’ll be graduating near the middle of March! Apply to meet him today!
