Ruvane is currently located at the EAC in Westminster (10460 Town Center Dr, Westminster, CO, 80021) and can be visited from 10am-6pm Sat/Sun and 12pm-7pm Mon-Fri! Email our EAC team at EAC@savinganimalstoday.org for more information! Ruvane is a two-year-old Border Collie mix with a thoughtful heart and a gentle soul. True to his breed, he’s an intelligent and sensitive boy who likes to take a moment to assess new people and unfamiliar situations. He may be a little wary at first, but with patience, kindness, and a few reassuring words, Ruvane’s sweet personality begins to shine. He loves spending time with his people, learning new things, and being included in the daily action. Whether it’s practicing cues, going for a walk, or just hanging out nearby, Ruvane enjoys having a job to do and a person to bond with. He does well with other dogs and could especially benefit from a confident canine friend who can help show him the ropes and boost his confidence. Because he can be sensitive to sudden movements and lots of commotion, Ruvane would thrive in a home with children 7 and older who understand how to give him space when he needs it. With a patient family willing to offer gentle guidance and encouragement, Ruvane will truly blossom—forming deep, loyal bonds and becoming the devoted companion he’s meant to be.

Email our EAC team at EAC@savinganimalstoday.org for more information! Meet Leek, a joyful, affectionate boy who isn’t shy about showing how much he loves you! His favorite way to say hello is by jumping up to give you a hug, and when he gets excited, his whole body wiggles with happiness. Leek has a big personality and an even bigger heart, and he brings so much fun and energy wherever he goes. Because of his enthusiastic greetings and jumpy, wiggly nature, Leek would do best in a home with kids aged 14 and older who can handle his excitement and help reinforce good manners. He gets along well with other dogs and would enjoy having canine friends to play with or simply relax beside. Leek is a loving, happy pup who just wants to share his affection with everyone around him. With continued guidance and a family who appreciates his playful spirit, he’ll make an incredibly fun and devoted companion.

Story
Indie loves to snuggle, take long sniffy walks, and play. She is food motivated, crate trained and eager to please. Indie is 48 lbs of silly, sweet, friendly, occasionally anxious, and sometimes stubborn fluff who would love to meet you! She would do well in a home without young children as she can be excitable, but could love having another doggie friend in her life. She has been a gift to raise, but I am dealing with chronic health issues that have led me to be unable to provide Indie the consistent care that she deserves.

Story
Oscar is an almost 2 year old Border Collie mix. Sadly, Oscar spent the majority of his life in a large shelter. He went in when he was about 10 weeks old and stayed there until he was a year and a half, when we were able to get him out. Since then he's been in a foster home. He was very very nervous when he first came in, and wanted nothing to do with new people. He was very gentle however and would just cower or hide when nervous. Since being in foster, he has come a very long way. He walks very well on leash with his trusted people, and doesn't seem scared of car/traffic noises. He is still very shy of new people, but once warmed up he's very sweet and offers tail wags, and likes to be pet. He is kennel trained and likes to go into his kennel as a safe space, and is very food motivated. He is potty trained and will potty on leash. Oscar will need. very patient and quiet home, with the understanding that he will take time to warm up but then will be a very sweet guy. We also recommend he go to a home with other dogs, since he absolutely loves all other dogs and will need a confident dog to show him that things are ok! Oscar is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines.

Story
Meet Maude She is a very sweet girl who is excited to grow, learn, and experience a brand-new life in a loving home. Like many shelter dogs, Maude is starting fresh—so adopters should expect that she may need training, guidance, and help learning good manners. Maude would do best in a home without young children or cats, where she can feel comfortable and settle in at her own pace. She does, however, enjoy the company of other furry canine friends and may thrive with a dog buddy by her side that she can play rough and tough with. With patience, consistency, and lots of love, Maude has all the potential to blossom into a wonderful lifelong companion. 🐾

Story
Winchester is amazing at fetch! He gets hyper-focused on the toy/ball and is pretty good at tracking it down after it's been thrown. Best part is, he brings the toy/ball back to you! He doesn't seem overly protective of toys, but he will steal toys from his dog-siblings; he doesn't show aggression when a known human takes a toy from him (same with food, he is not aggressive or protective). He does ok on a leash, pulls a little but otherwise does well. He does well on car rides; at first he is anxious but will quickly calm down and eventually just sleep on the floor. Once the vehicle stops, he will stand up and be alert to changes but otherwise he does great. Winchester does have anxiety, and would do best in a home that has very little changes (few guests, limited movement/pace) but would enjoy an owner who takes him on walks, plays with him, and lets him channel his energy in the backyard most days of the week. He would probably do best in a home without children or cats.
