Welcome Sweet Oscar!   Oscar is a five-month-old, 10-pound Border Terrier mix puppy.   He is full of puppy energy and loves attention, toys, and food. Now that he is a bit older, Oscar's favorite activity is playing with the other small dogs in his foster home. Oscar has lots of energy for playtime and is very affectionate; he enjoys being a lap companion.    Oscar is housetrained and sleeps in a dog bed at night. He is crated when his foster mom runs errands, but, as a puppy, he should not be crated all day. We are looking for a forever home where someone is home often and can dedicate time to continue his socialization, basic obedience training, and active play. His ideal home will also have another small  playful dog.    Oscar is neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on vaccinations. This is one of the hardest decisions we’ve ever had to make, but with a new baby at home, we’re looking for a new, safe, and loving environment for Brewer where he can truly thrive. Brewer is an incredibly sweet, affectionate dog with his people. Once he bonds with you, he is loyal, loving, and happiest just being near those he trusts. He enjoys calm routines, familiar faces, and a predictable environment. Brewer does struggle with anxiety and fear-based aggression toward unfamiliar people. Because of this, he would do best in a quiet, adult-only home with someone who is experienced with dogs who have behavioral challenges. He is currently on medication to help manage his anxiety and behavioral concerns, which has been helpful and should be continued under veterinary guidance. Meet Mickey! Mickey was surrendered to us along with his two sisters and dad. His family was no longer able to care for them. Unfortunately, they didn't socialize them enough so they are all shy and not use to everyday sounds. Mom is a poodle and dad is a Norfolk terrier. They do relax with a little love and patience. Mickey LOVES to play with other dogs! He is very sweet and likes to snuggle with his person. He isn't used to being alone so there is a bit of whining when he is. He is very handsome. He will run if you try to pick him up. His foster is working on this. Because he is a flight risk a home with small children (potential doors left open) is not in his current future. He will need a home that has time to work with him. Please keep in mind he is a PUPPY. Puppies chew on things, have accidents, and need basic training. If this is not something that you feel you are up for Mickey is not the guy for you. Mickey is neutered, UTD on vaccines, and microchipped. Mickey is 3 months old and weighs 8 pounds.
