Story
Hi I'm Cantiflas! I'm a little 16lb scruffy guy estimated at 2-3 years old who was abandoned and found trying to survive on my own. I was in ruff condition and very scared, but over the past several months I have learned to trust humans and came out of my shell thanks to a wonderful foster family. I have been in foster now for the last month and here’s what my foster parents say “ Cantiflas is perfect in the house and has completely adapted to the environment. He gets along well with other dogs and even likes playing with the cat! He is skittish when meeting new people, but warms up fairly quickly.”My rescue can't be sure of my breed, but I look to be a border terrier/schnauzer mix, best guess. I have received all of the general and medical care I needed to now be ready for my forever home. My one lingering issue is that I tested heartworm-positive and am currently undergoing treatment using the "slow kill" method, which will have to be continued by my adopters by administering oral meds. My rescue will cover the expenses for those medications and retesting until I test negative, which will happen in due time. My $350.00 adoption fee includes vet check, up to date vaccines, neuter, heartworm meds until a negative test result, microchip and deworming, all already done. If you are interested in adopting me, please go to www.gofar.dog and complete an adoption application. If you have questions, email my rescue at adoptions@gofar.dog. If you'd like to experience all the love I have, and want to make me part of your family, please complete the adoption application by pasting this link into your browser: https://service.sheltermanager.com/asmservice?account=sm2546&method=online_form_html&formid=21
