Story
Hello- my name is Maple! I was found with my friend, Sandy, trying to survive on the streets in Miami. I was so very scared and almost completely shut down when I first arrived here at Guardians. With the help of the staff and volunteers, I’ve become more social and outgoing. I walk great on leash and love to cuddle and I have found I like to play with the toys when I’m in the play yard, too! I have been friendly with other dogs here at the rescue, so having a fur sibling would be fun I think.I am estimated at 2 years old and weigh about 17lbs- so perfect size for someone who travels. I appear to be a terrier mix- the rescue thinks they see maybe Border and Norfolk terrier?My $450 adoption fee includes vet exam, up to date vaccines, spay, deworming and preventatives while in our care, heartworm test (negative) and microchip.If you are interested in adopting me, please complete a free, non-binding application at www.gofar.dog under Adopt.If you have questions, email my rescue at adoptions@gofar.dog.
