Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Bunny is with our rescue partner in Louisiana and is coming to NJ on 3/21. Meet Bunny — the only “Bunny” who won’t hop away when you call him!      This boy was found as a stray, but he’s hopped right into family life like a pro. House- and crate-trained? Yup. Leash-trained? You bet. Great with dogs? Absolutely. Currently sharing his home with five kids, two adults, and a pack of pups — basically a full house of fun, and Bunny fits right in!   Sweet, social, and ready for his forever family, Bunny’s hoping his next leap lands him right into someone’s heart (and maybe on their couch).  Want the sweetest “Bunny” you’ll ever meet? Apply to adopt him today — he’s all ears!    Bunny is fixed, microchipped and up to date on vaccines. His adoption fee is $450.    Adopting a dog is a commitment that will require annual veterinary care at a minimum, training, exercise, enrichment, etc. Pet care is not cheap or easy and adopters should consider the costs, time and training   prior to adoption. After all these dogs have been through they deserve a loving, committed home. CLICK HERE TO FILL OUT AN ADOPTION APPLICATION! Story
Welcome Betsy from Tijuana! Betsy is a shy, very loving, playful girl who will capture your heart.  She is already transforming into a NYC dog, showing to be a fast learner. She is 3 years old and 26lbs. We believe she may be a Border Terrier mix. Teaching her is easy because she will listen to you attentively to take your cues. Betsy is big on giving eye contact as if she can understand every word you say and her eyes tell you all her feelings. She wants to make you happy, so she will be quick to sit and correct herself when she makes mistakes. In a short time, she learned how to share her space, toys and her foster mom with her foster sister, also her new bestie. She looks forward to her walks and at first would walk closely, but cautiously with you around this new city. Now she walks confidently and continues at your pace. Betsy is well mannered while on errands and likes to explore what is around her with gentle smells. Out and about, she is shy to say hi to other dogs but will look back with curiosity.  She is also shy to meet new people and needs time to get to know you. Once she does, she is very affectionate and likes to give kisses and snuggle with you.  She loves to be pampered! Cleaning her with baby wipes or drying her paws with a soft towel is her favorite. When you’re done, she will nudge you and stay by your side for more. At home, with you or alone, she is quiet and likes to play when she gets the zoomies. You may find her in a game of chase with her foster sis or playing ball. If it’s quiet, you may find her sleeping on a bed of toys- a dream come true for her. Now she dreams of finding her forever family! Vaccinated for Rabies, DHPP, and Bordetella. Neutered and microchipped. Tested for vector-borne illnesses. Current on flea, tick, and heart worm prevention.  To apply to foster/foster-to-adopt to adopt Luli, visit our website (www.waggytailrescue.org) for a foster application. It is important to fill out an application as soon as possible for consideration, and we require a complete application for you to meet an animal. We are currently unable to respond to general email inquiries as an all-volunteer run rescue. If the dog is on our website, they are still available. Waggytail Rescue CANNOT guarantee the exact age of any adoptable dog, or final size of any of our adoptable puppies. We rely on the information provided to us by veterinarians, shelters, owner surrenders and other circumstances bringing the dog into our rescue. Questions: adopt@waggytailrescue.org ##2654482##

Story
Jelly, a 3 year old, 14 pound Border Terrier mix is very skittish at first and super shy.His foster says, &#194&#147 I personally don't think he was used to human touch; we have been working very hard to make him familiar with us, and to accept our affection. He now lets us pick him up, he loves to be held and get scratches, he will run to the gate whenever we come in, and he gives us a little bark to say hey!!! Success! We do think he needs to go to a home where it is just him and his owners, to be a less stressful environment. (He is also crate trained)&#194&#148. Do you think you can offer this boy such an environment? (Posted 3/15/ 26, ME) Adoption Fee: $395.00-- covers microchip, worming, all vaccines, monthly heart worm preventative, monthly tick/flea preventative, spaying/neutering, health certificate, and complete medical records. Transport Fee: $160.00-- We consider the transport to be of great importance and, as such, take particular care of the dogs during the trip. We make every effort to arrive with healthy and minimally stressed dogs. **It is rare that we know with certainty the ages or mixes that make up our dogs, but we do our best to be as accurate as possible based upon our experience. **March 19, 2026, 5:17 pm
