Story
This sweet 2-3-year-old, 25-pound terrier mix is equal parts cuddle bug and tiny wildlife patrol officer. Dove is looking for a home with a 6-foot fenced yard--because let's just say she takes her job of monitoring the local critter population very seriously. 🐿ï¸ÂðŸ‡ Her motto? "You can run, but I will absolutely try to catch you!" Because Dove can get a little enthusiastic when critters are involved, she'll need a confident, strong leash walker who can keep up with her adventures. The good news? She's housetrained, sweet as can be, and ready to find her forever home! Basically, Dove is a lovable little terrier with a big personality, four-wheel drive, and a questionable relationship with squirrels. 🐾😂 Dove is currently completing her heartworm treatment. Which is fully paid by the rescue. 📍 Fostered in Audubon,NJ 📧 Questions: ammrshelly@gmail.com 📝 Apply: tinyurl.com/ammradoptapp Meet Dove! ❤ï¸Â Online Application: https://www.trackabeast.com/tabbe/form/790/7000790146940/dog/adoption_allmuttsmatter.html Check us out on FB https://m.facebook.com/groups/927573409001459/?ref=share Or our Instagram https://www.instagram.com/all_mutts_matter_rescue?igsh=MWVycnBzMjFkOG5lNQ== Adoption donation of $425 includes age-appropriate vaccinations and spay/neuter when pup is approximately 5-7 months of age. Story
Hi! My name is Leo, and I’m looking for a forever home where I can continue learning, playing, and being my silly little self! I was picked up as a stray by animal control and taken to a super scary place called a shelter. After my hold time was up, I was in danger of being placed on something very bad called “the list.” Luckily for me, BCAA said YES to helping me! Thank goodness, because the vet says I’m only about 5–6 months old, and I have my whole life ahead of me!I appear to be some type of scruffy terrier mix and weighed about 20 pounds when I first went to the vet. We think I’ll stay a medium-sized dog when I’m all grown up.I’m a sweet, playful guy who loves people, attention, treats, breakfast, dinner, and pretty much anything fun! I can still be a little skittish, especially when something is new or unfamiliar, but I’m settling in more every day. My foster mom says I’m also getting very good at getting into EVERYTHING—which apparently is what puppies do! I absolutely love other dogs! I’ve gotten along with dogs of all sizes, and I especially love my little foster dog friend. I think having another confident, playful dog in my forever home could really help me come out of my shell and feel comfortable even faster. I’ve also shown no interest in cats so far. When I first arrived in foster, I had a couple of accidents in my crate, but once I figured out that there was a schedule and I’d be getting outside regularly, I caught on quickly and have been doing so much better! I’m also learning about this whole leash thing and doing pretty well—especially when treats are involved! I’m still a puppy, so I’ll need a family who is ready to keep teaching me, give me plenty of appropriate outlets for my energy, and help me build confidence as I grow.If you’re looking for a sweet, scruffy, playful puppy with a little bit of goofy mischief thrown in, Leo might just be your guy! If you’d like to learn more about Leo or meet him, please fill out an application at www.bcaaofnj.org. Interested in adopting this pet?Click here for BCAA's on-line Application! PLEASE NOTE: Our adoption fee helps to cover our expenses and includes all shots, *age appropriate*, distemper and rabies, fecal check, spay/neuter, heartworm test, grooming, and in many cases dental and also the fee we pay when we rescue from a shelter. Story
Tiffany and Dodger are an adorable bonded pair searching for a family who will open their heart and home to both of them. Our Rescue took them in when they were dumped on a dirt road in a rural area of SC. These sweet little border terrier mixes are approximately 2.5 years old and apx 15 pounds each. They are dog friendly, kid friendly, and perfectly sized to fit beside you on the couch—and into your heart. Tiffany is the precious darker girl with the white markings while Dodger is the handsome tan boy with the adorable upright ears. They each have their own special personality, but what truly makes them shine is the love and comfort they find in one another. They have already built a beautiful bond and depend on each other for companionship and security. Separating them would mean taking away the one constant they know, so they are looking for a forever home where they can remain together. Two little dogs may mean twice the paws, but it also means twice the love, twice the cuddles, and twice the happiness. Tiffany and Dodger aren’t asking for much—just one family willing to promise that their best friendship will never have to end. 💜🐾 ———————————- ❗️Important note about the adoption fee: This pair are among the handful of Arcadia Animal Rescue’s “Hero Dogs” and we want to explain what that means. Arcadia has helped save thousands of animals and currently have over 250 on our caseload. We are run by unpaid volunteers and our only form of income is adoption fees and donations. Yet we continue to take in the animals who are the most overlooked—the pitties and other large breeds who take longer to place, all the while continuing to provide medical care, medications, training and/or boarding when needed, food/supplies, transport, etc. for as long as it takes to get them adopted. Instead of going to a breeder who is profiting off the lives of these animals, by adopting a “Hero Dog”, you are literally saving not just one, but the lives of many others since every single dollar goes directly to the care of the animals in the rescue. The funds that a “Hero Dog” brings in to the rescue are *critically* needed now more than ever, and it gives us the ability to say yes to the next animal who needs help. Thank you for partnering with us in this mission to save these innocent lives!
