Story
Pepa is a 1.5 year old adventurous female Border Terrier mix. It is unclear what other breed she might be mixed with, but she certainly fits the description almost precisely of a Border Terrier. She is lively, athletic, and interested in hunting or burrowing for small animals. She has an innate nature to want to please her owner, and she is very motivated to learn new commands. It is unknown where Pepa originally came from, but she so far has not had a stable home, or a home with proper attention and care. So she is in the process of house training, leash training, and learning more complex commands. She picks up new things easily, and enjoys going for long walks and runs. She is very athletic and can jump as high as 3ft, balance and stand on her hind legs, and she is as quick and fast as a fox. Pepa needs a forever home and a forever companion who can nurture her, train her, and lead her, all while providing more than just her basic needs. Pepa comes with a bed, her toys, and food.

Story
Willow Sue is a pint-sized little girl looking for her forever home! She has had her babies (6 total) and they have been weaned. Willow Sue is enjoying the peace and quiet at her foster mom's home. She is completely housetrained. She sleeps in her kennel at night but would really enjoy sleeping with her human. Willow walks great on a leash and would enjoy going on walks on these pretty spring days. She gets along great with other dogs, cats, and chickens. She also enjoys being around the little people. We don't know the exact breed of Willow, but we know that border terriers seem to look like her. She weighs about 10-12 lbs and is approximately 2 years old. Go ahead and apply for this sweet little girl as she won't be available very long! Willow Sue is spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and current on flea/tick and heartworm preventative. This dog has tested ****** for heartworms. The adoption fee is $450 if your adoption is prepaid and final prior to your dog's arrival. An additional $50 will be charged on dogs that are picked up from our Southbury CT adoption center, adopted at an event, or foster home. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with CT HB 5368. WANT TO MEET OUR DOGS IN PERSON? Check the Events tab on cprdogs.com for all weekend adoption event info. The majority of the dogs marked as 'meet me' will be there to see you! An additional $100 fee will be added for any dogs picked up from the Woburn MA quarantine facility. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with MA Order 405-CD-12 and Order 1-AHO-05. Story
Renee is the cutest little nugget! She is around 27 lbs and 6.5 months old. She's the perfect size! She was adopted out back in February but returned to us recently because she was too energetic for the kids. She loves to play and she is having a blast with the other dogs at our adoption center! She would make a great fit for an active family that wants to bring her along for all of the fun. She's working on house training and does well on a schedule. She has not been around cats. She has fun playing outside but also loves a good cuddle on the couch. Apply now for this little dream gal! Renee is spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and current on flea/tick and heartworm preventative. This dog has tested ****** for heartworms. Story
Introducing Lorax, the 12 lb schnauzer terrier mix with a fascinating story. Though her paperwork suggests she's 7, her foster believes Lorax is more likely around 4 years old by the way he acts. Lorax is doing amazing with his house training, loves getting cozy at bedtime after a big meal. She lives in harmony with her foster cat. Lorax would thrive in a home with kids over 15 as preferably the only dog (but can co-exist with sibling). She loves her leash walk but at times she may bark at new people and other dogs. Her forever home should be a home with a fenced in yard, no apartments. Lax is looking for an experienced dog owner. That will continue with her training. No first time dog owners, please. Lorax's inquisitive and intelligent nature makes her a perfect companion, and take a look at that beautiful mustache!
