Story
Meet Donner, handsome, 52-pound pup who is looking for a family that will give him a second chance. Donner was born around 10/1/2024 and was originally adopted as a young puppy, one out of a litter of 9, but he recently found himself back at the shelter (attached is his puppy picture). He spent the majority of his time in the home confined to a crate or left alone with other dogs in the backyard. Donner is a loving, happy-go-lucky guy who is simply bursting with potential, so we hope to find a home for him that will truly make him part of the family. As a Border Collie/Malinois mix, Donner is the athlete of the dog world. Because he spent so much of his early life sidelined, he is eager to make up for lost time and would thrive with an active owner who enjoys activities like hiking or running. He is a social butterfly who gets along famously with other dogs, but he should have a no-cat home or a responsible owner savvy enough to keep them separated. Donner doesn't need a life behind bars or fenceshe needs a partner in crime. He is looking for a second chance with someone who understands that "high energy" is just another word for "adventure ready." With a little bit of structure, some mental puzzles, and a lot of love, Donner is going to be the most loyal, capable companion youve ever had. $350 adoption fee. Donner will go to his home neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. Please visit our website www.petsnpals.org to learn more about this amazing pet and to see other available dogs and cats.

Story
Life hasn't always been easy for Finch. Found wandering as a stray, this 43 lb Standard Poodle has had a rough go of it. He arrived here completely matted and with a double ear infection. We acted quickly to remove all the painful matting and take care of his ears, so now he's looking a little bald but he's feeling much better. He is ready to leave his past behind and find a soft place to land. At 2-3 years old Finch is the perfect age. He is past the chaotic puppy teething stage but still has plenty of youthful energy. While his coat is short now, we hope to find a home for him where his new owners will be diligent to keep him groomed so he can remain pain-free and handsome. We have vaccinated, microchipped him, and neutered him. If you're ready to meet him, go to www.petsnpals.org and submit an adoption application! $350 adoption fee helps with some of the costs of caring for him here.
