PERFECT DOG ALERT!! Adoption fee reduced for Senior love to $200 Dorothy (formerly Huckaby) – Proof That Love Changes Everything Dorothy’s journey hasn’t always been kind. She was dumped at a high-kill shelter in Stanislaus, where she quietly resigned herself to being unwanted. But her story took a beautiful turn when her incredible foster parents stepped in and gave her a brand-new leash on life (yes — we had to 😉). Since then, Dorothy has truly blossomed. She received the eye surgery she needed, was showered with love, patience, and comfort, and even formed an unlikely best friendship with a rehabilitating chicken. Somewhere along the way, Dorothy discovered the fountain of youth — and it turns out, it’s love. Now thriving, happy, and full of personality, Dorothy may not be a spring chicken… but she sure acts like one. She’s playful, affectionate, and ready to find her person — someone who will be her adventure buddy and continue showing her just how special she is. Dorothy is living proof that it’s never too late for a second chance — and she’s ready for her forever. 📍 Location: Stanislaus County, CA (currently in foster care) 🐾 Rescue: Grandma’s Barn Rescue & Sanctuary

Story
Dahlia Marie is a beautiful 7-year-old black Australian Kelpie with a gentle soul and a loyal heart. She currently lives on a ranch in Escalon and is used to having space to explore and relax. Dahlia can be a little shy around men at first, but she warms up quickly with patience and a few tasty treats. Once she feels safe, her sweet personality really shines. She is wonderful with kids and truly phenomenal with female dogs. With male dogs, she can be a bit assertive, so slow introductions or a female companion would be ideal. Her owner is facing a time-sensitive situation and needs to find Dahlia a new home before the end of the month. A loving foster home would also be a huge help while she waits for her forever family. Dahlia would thrive in a calm, understanding home where she can feel secure and loved. If you’re looking for a loyal companion and have room in your heart (or home) to help, Dahlia Marie would love to meet you. ##2629699##

Story
Peanut Butter is adorable, sweet, playful and very energetic dog! She loves to play outside and love cuddles and hugs! We adopted her in April and she is been super spoiled since then, but unfortunately, my special needs son had a seizure, a hospitalization and lots of complications after that. Our family is struggling with my son's situation and our sweet pet is not getting the care she needs and wants. Because of that complex situation, we don't have conditions to keep Peanut Butter. We are facing a hard family time and she deserves more attention that we are able to give her now. She still needs to be trained but she is doing a great job potty training. If you wants a lovely dog who loves kids and play, she is your girl!

Story
Meet Sienna! She is a beautiful, playful pup that has an estimated birthday of 3/1/25. She was found as a stray, but no owner came forward for her. That doesn't bring her down, though! She is so happy-go-lucky and is a joy to spend time with. She acts very puppyish still, so her new owner should look forward to laying the foundation for her training. Her breed is very intelligent, so she will be a breeze. She is good with dogs, but she hasn't been tested with cats, so a careful introduction or a safe separation is important for any cat home. She's young enough to be trained in that area as well. If interested, please submit an application on www.petsnpals.org. $350 adoption fee includes her vaccines, microchip, and spay. Story
Meet Kruger. He is named after the amazing Kruger Foods company. They have sponsored him and covered all the medical costs for this great dog that was found on their property. When Kruger was found, his body told the story of a dog who had been on his own for far too long. He was thin and hungry, his coat was patchy, he had been eaten up by fleas, and several of his teeth were broken from scavenging just to survive. Despite everything he endured, Kruger never lost the quiet spark in his eyesthe one that said he still wanted to believe in people.Kruger is a middle-aged Australian Shepherd and Rottweiler mix (estimated at approximately 5 years old) with a gentle heart and a calm, soulful nature. Since coming into our care, hes started to healhis coat is now healthy, and hes learning that a kind touch means safety, not pain. He enjoys walks, soft beds, and quiet moments with the people here. Kruger has known hardship, but he hasnt given up on love. What he needs now is a loving home where he can feel safe and cherished for the rest of his life. This grateful dog will show just how much love a rescued heart can give. $50.00 suggested adoption donation.
