Story
Meet Donner, handsome, 52-pound pup who is looking for a family that will give him a second chance. Donner was born around 10/1/2024 and was originally adopted as a young puppy, one out of a litter of 9, but he recently found himself back at the shelter (attached is his puppy picture). He spent the majority of his time in the home confined to a crate or left alone with other dogs in the backyard. Donner is a loving, happy-go-lucky guy who is simply bursting with potential, so we hope to find a home for him that will truly make him part of the family. As a Border Collie/Malinois mix, Donner is the athlete of the dog world. Because he spent so much of his early life sidelined, he is eager to make up for lost time and would thrive with an active owner who enjoys activities like hiking or running. He is a social butterfly who gets along famously with other dogs, but he should have a no-cat home or a responsible owner savvy enough to keep them separated. Donner doesn't need a life behind bars or fenceshe needs a partner in crime. He is looking for a second chance with someone who understands that "high energy" is just another word for "adventure ready." With a little bit of structure, some mental puzzles, and a lot of love, Donner is going to be the most loyal, capable companion youve ever had. $350 adoption fee. Donner will go to his home neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. Please visit our website www.petsnpals.org to learn more about this amazing pet and to see other available dogs and cats.

Story
Meet Kruger. He is named after the amazing Kruger Foods company. They have sponsored him and covered all the medical costs for this great dog that was found on their property. When Kruger was found, his body told the story of a dog who had been on his own for far too long. He was thin and hungry, his coat was patchy, he had been eaten up by fleas, and several of his teeth were broken from scavenging just to survive. Despite everything he endured, Kruger never lost the quiet spark in his eyesthe one that said he still wanted to believe in people.Kruger is a middle-aged Australian Shepherd and Rottweiler mix (estimated at approximately 5 years old) with a gentle heart and a calm, soulful nature. Since coming into our care, hes started to healhis coat is now healthy, and hes learning that a kind touch means safety, not pain. He enjoys walks, soft beds, and quiet moments with the people here. Kruger has known hardship, but he hasnt given up on love. What he needs now is a loving home where he can feel safe and cherished for the rest of his life. This grateful dog will show just how much love a rescued heart can give. $50.00 suggested adoption donation. Story
If youre looking for "more to love," meet Bo! Weighing in at a sturdy 96 pounds and born 2/15/2021, Bo is a big, handsome fellow who is just as sweet as he is substantial. Bo spent his previous life as an outside dog, but he is more than ready to trade the backyard for a spot at your feet (or, lets be honest, taking up most of your rug). Because Bo spent the majority of his life outside, his transition to life inside should require some patience. He is a "big kid" who doesn't quite know the rules of a house yet, so his adopters should be prepared to be consistent and patient with housetraining and basic manners. Despite his size, Bo is a gentle soul who just wants to be part of the action. He has a calm, steady presence that balances out the high energy of his other Aussie companions. Bo is used to being around other dogs. Hes a social guy, but a mandatory meet-and-greet is required for any resident dogs to ensure everyone gets along famously. Bo needs a family who understands that big dogs need big love. Hes looking for a home where he can finally be a true member of the family. He is neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. $350 adoption fee. Please visit our website www.petsnpals.org to learn more about this amazing pet and to see other available dogs and cats.
