Meet Deacon!Deacon is a two-year-old poodle mix who was rescued around Thanksgiving 2025. Since then he has made tremendous progress. His playful personality has definitely come out! He is very curious about his foster`s toddler and loves to watch the neighborhood activity from their gated yard. He takes a moment to warm up to new people. He will initially stay far away from new people until he is comfortable. Once he feels comfortable he will come close and be OK with being petted. When he is totally comfortable, he loves a tummy scratch!Deacon plays great and gets along with other dogs. However, he doesn`t need a dog companion so he would be fine as the only pup in the home. Deacon is crate trained, neutered and current with all his vaccines.To set up a meet and greet or inquire about a dog, please first fill out an application at https://savinghoperescue.org/adopt. Meet Hart Hart is a 1.5-year-old Mini Goldendoodle with adorable curls, a big personality, and under 25 pounds of loyal companion energy. He’s the perfect mix of playful and protective, especially devoted to women and girls, and would make an incredible sidekick for a single woman looking for a constant companion. If you move, he moves. If you sit down, he’s already claiming lap privileges.Hart is neutered, fully vaccinated, heartworm negative, crate trained, and apartment friendly. He’s perfectly fine as an only dog and truly enjoys soaking up attention from his people. When he first arrived, he struggled with marking indoors, so he currently wears a belly band while continuing to improve his potty habits — and he’s making great progress going outside consistently. With structure and routine, he’ll keep getting better every day.He eats a prescription diet to support his digestion and does very well on it. Hart loves running and playing outside, is still working on leash manners, and enjoys sleeping in his crate at night — though if you invite him into bed, he will happily accept the upgrade.If you’re looking for a small, devoted best friend who will adore you fiercely, keep you company, and fill your home with personality and cuddles, Hart is ready to claim his forever person!To set up a meet and greet or inquire about a dog, please first fill out an application at https://savinghoperescue.org/adopt.
