Meet Wedge! I’m an eight-year-old boy weighing 21 pounds. I’m housebroken, crate-trained, and I can even use a doggie door!Now, let me tell you what I love and don’t love. I absolutely adore traveling, camping, small hikes, and walks. I love people-watching at dog-friendly patios and watching whatever catches my eye on TV. I’m not a night owl and love to go to bed early. I’m happy to sleep in my bed, but I’m always up for an invite to share yours.On the other hand, I don’t like being around a lot of people in small spaces. And I’m not a fan of little people in my face. I’m more of the quiet and reserved kind of guy. I like other dogs that are my size and calm. (I’m not sure how I feel about cats.) And I’m not really into giving kisses. Mia was given to me by my neighbor who was diagnosed with cancer. I don't have her health records but she said she was up to date on her vaccinations and I don't believe she's microchipped. I believe her to be about 3 or 4 years of age. Mia is highly intelligent and will be easily trainable. Intuitive of human emotion, she seems to always sense my moods and reacts. Mia is sweet as honey, and she still has that puppy energy and then loves to snuggle up. If you want a sweet, playful, affectionate, highly trainable young pup, she would make a great fit. She needs a young family that can take her out for walks and give her a life that I can't. She deserves it. I don't know why it says required spayed, that's not my policy.

Bacho has been a great pet. He is lovable, loyal, responsive, affectionate, playful, and easy to take care of. He knows many commands like sit, lay down, come here, stay, go to your bed, go do your business (and he does it quickly), fetch (go get it!) and brings the toy back, etc. He doesn't chew on things (way past that stage). He is crate trained. He eats immediately upon feeding. His coat stays clean. No known allergies or skin sensitivities. And loves to go on walks. I took Bacho in as a puppy during the middle of Covid from a neighbor. He is mixed Border Collie, Blue Healer and some Pit. Things have changed in my life and I cannot give him the attention he deserves.

I am Ruby! my foster mama says I love to snuggle, I liked being in her sweatshirt but now she says I can't fit in there with her because I am a big girl. I don't feel like a big girl, I still like to snuggle like before. I like my toys and my siblings, but I sure would like to find my forever home. I am learning to do some fancy tricks, besides being in the sweatshirt. I am told I am a "good girl" and get these special yummy treats when I am told this... Meet Marjorie! Marjorie is a beautiful brindle pit bull mix, about 42 pounds, at 2 years old, and is so deserving of a forever home! She has been through a lot in her short life including being a wonderful mama to a 9-pup litter in the fall of 2023 around the time she was rescued by Saving Hope, plus overcoming heartworms and a bad respiratory virus that nearly took her life. Marjorie is stronger and healthier than ever now; her puppies found homes, now she is eagerly waiting for hers!She does wonderfully in her crate at night and during the day when her foster mom is at work. As she is not destructive, once she is settled into her forever home (generally 3 weeks to 3 months depending on the dog), she can be left out of her kennel. As with so many dogs, she is naturally nervous in new situations, and thus needs continued work on building confidence. She thrives with clear direction from her person and positive feedback when she does the right thing – she tries her very best to follow all the rules! She has the cutest tippy-tap dance when excited, waiting for a treat, or when she’s working on a skill.While there are no children in her current foster home, she loves everyone and would likely do well with children 10+ as she appreciates her space being respected and a calm household would help her adjust faster.Marjorie loves nothing more than to keep busy managing squirrels and lizards in the yard. This is her main energy outlet currently, so a backyard would be ideal. She needs at least a 6-foot tall fence when off leash because this girl is athletic… anyone want an agility dog? She might be it! She exhibits prey drive tendencies so cats, small dogs or other small animals are not a good fit. She takes breaks to sunbathe and would be content to do this nonstop, but she listens well when it’s time to come inside.Marjorie is threshold trained and is working on leash skills for walks using a prong collar and cues/guidance to walk alongside her human. She gets excited at the sight of other creatures but will sit on command until her person is ready to go. When it’s time to rest, she is very respectful of furniture but if she is invited up, she will be more than happy to cuddle.Marjorie is very quiet unless she is barking at a squirrel or playing with her foster brother, who she has become quite close to (a boxer/pit bull mix). She is somewhat dog selective and has some resource guarding tendencies surrounding speci
