Meet the beefcake, Freddie. He is a very special dog who loves people, and his housemate Mookie. Freddie knows how to use a dog door, and loves to snuggle. He will sleep next to you in bed and even spoon you on occasion. Freddie love to play tug of war and chase his buddy. Freddie is extremely goofy and has a heart of gold. He also like to get into the dirty laundry and the trash. Freddie has separation anxiety, and would do best in a home where someone is there often, and there is another dog, preferably his buddy Mookie, where he can be the Beta.

Mookie has been with me since he was a young puppy. He just turned four years old. Mour family got Mookie from a breeder in Eastern Washington, and spent most of his early years with us as a work from home family. He knows how to use a dog door, and has been around kids his whole life. He loves other dogs, including his housemate, Freddie. He enjoys cuddling between legs on a blanket and will sleep under the covers by your feet. Unfortunately, since moving back to California and becoming single, I cannot afford to give as much attention to Mookie and Freddie as they deserve. He is crate trained and loves to play fetch.

Jellybean is the life of the party! Jellybean is estimated to be 3 years old, and she is fun with a capital "F"! Like most Boston terriers, Jellybean is a social and playful girl who loves nothing more than making new friends and playing fetch. She is an active girl looking for a family that can keep up with her adorable enthusiasm. Jellybean is fully grown and weighs about 15lbs. Jellybean was found by one of our kitten foster moms. After unsuccessfully finding her previous owners, the foster mom got her vetted, and we made her a YCSPCA foster dog so that we can help find her fur-ever home. What's not to love about Jellybean? She's ridiculously adorable, and there is never a dull moment when she is around. Her absolute favorite thing in the world is playing fetch with balls, and she could play for hours if you let her. She would be a wonderful, active companion for someone who wants a compact cutie to tag along for outdoor adventures. Jellybean loves making new human friends and is quick to cover you in kisses when you meet her. She is a bubbly girl who has never met a person she doesn't love. Jellybean has been doing great with her basic manners training, but is still working on her impulse control, especially if she sees other dogs on walks. She is very food-motivated and smart, so she just needs a family committed to helping her learn. Jellybean has been doing well living with another Boston terrier, but has a strong personality, so would do best as an only dog, or with a submissive dog who is okay with her calling all the shots. Jellybean needs a kitty-free home. Jellybean would make a wonderful addition to a home with kids 8 years and older. Jellybean has been doing great with her housetraining. She is used to being kept in a bedroom while home alone and sleeps overnight in the laundry room. She will whine for a few minutes, but is quick to settle. She may do well living in an apartment with lots of daily exercise. Jellybean is such a wonderful little gal, and she can't wait to start the rest of her life with her fur-ever family. We got Pickle when she was a puppy in 2018. We love her dearly, she is 7 years old now… our living situation has completely changed, however, and I truly believe she’s not happy where we are at. We moved from a house that had an 1/2 acre of land so she had a nice yard to play in. Now, my daughter and I are living in an apartment, so she gets very bored. I walk her when I can, but there’s also a lot of other dogs in the apartments and she gets very triggered by them. I just feel like it’s a stressful situation for her and myself because I can’t always entertain her while I’m working. And I just honestly feel like she deserves much more than what I’m able to give to her right now.

I have recovered amazingly from surgery and just have a little wobble when I walk. So I use soft stairs to go up and down the couch, and I avoid hard stairs. Did I mention I'm allergic to poultry? There are two large Cane Corsos, two other frenchies (Peru and Billy), and something called a "chiwhatwhat.” I'm closest to my foster mom because she took such good care of me while I healed, but also because she's my snack supplier. Though, I have a little crush on Peru and like stealing his toys to make him chase me. WHERE DO YOU HANG OUT WHEN YOU ARE HOME ALONE? I hang in my x-pen area or an extra large crate. I have enough room to stretch my legs WHERE DO YOU SLEEP? Same as my hangout area. DO YOU LIKE WALKING ON A LEASH? I’m pretty great on leash and love going on walks and adventures! Though my walks aren't very long just yet since I'm slowly building up my muscles and stamina. DO YOU HAVE ANY “NOT SO GREAT” HABITS THAT WE SHOULD KNOW ABOUT? Well, I guess stealing toys is frowned upon by some when I get overzealous about it. So toys have been a slow introduction when in shared spaces. ARE YOU HOUSE TRAINED (DO YOU GO POTTY OUTSIDE)? I use a doggy door with confidence if I have access to it! Though if there's a potty pad in my x-pen, I'll use that too. DO YOU LIKE WATER? I LOVE to slurp it, not sure how I would feel about a splash pad on a hot day, but I’m willing to try it out when the weather warms up! No swimming pools for me.
