Looks like: Pug Male, 10 years old (estimated), 18 pounds Sweet Bowser is happiest when he's with his people and would love a home where he can be your constant companion -- whether that's lounging on the couch, following you from room to room, or soaking up all the affection you're willing to give. Bowser is incredibly gentle, super sweet, and endlessly cuddly. He gets along wonderfully with other dogs and even kitty friends. He would do great in a home with canine friends. Bowser joins us from Contra Costa Animal Services after he was picked up as a stray. Sadly, his guardians never returned to reclaim him and due to the shelter's overly full status and Bowser's senior status, he found his way to the POMDR pack.

Meet Stitch! Stitch is a handsome little clown who came to AFRP after some unexpected medical drama. Fully healed now, he’s ready to find his forever human… someone who’s prepared to be loved, adored, and obsessed over 24/7. This guy LOVES toys. Balls? Yes. Chew toys? Absolutely. He thrives on being the center of attention and will happily perform his full comedy routine just to make you smile. Life with Stitch is basically a non-stop episode of “cute chaos.” Even with all his energy, Stitch is a total gentleman on leash and has excellent manners—he’s proof that a little goofball can also be a well-behaved, charming companion. He’s not a fan of sharing the spotlight, so Stitch wants to be your one-and-only furry child. Other dogs? Nope. Cats? Nope. Stitch wants your heart all to himself. He’s a reactive pup, so a fenced yard and adopters with experience handling reactive dogs are a must. Bonus points if you already know how to pamper a smooshy-faced brachycephalic boy—he’s extra adorable but has a few quirks that come with that face. Stitch does require proof of pre-registration for one-on-one training sessions to help him grow in confidence (and maybe boss you around a little less… maybe). ** This pet is a Foster-to-Adopt candidate! That means you can foster them for a short trial period to make sure they’re the perfect match for your home before finalizing the adoption. If you’re interested, please complete both a foster application and an adoption application so we can get the process started. ** \ Stitch is currently in a loving foster home. One glance and you might swear she's about to tell you your future, and spoiler alert, it's full of love, laughter, and bulldog snuggles. Gypsy is as charming as she is magical. She's wonderful with other dogs, adores people, and has a signature move that wins hearts instantly: she'll gently offer you her paw as her way of saying "I love you." It's impossible not to fall under her spell. With her whimsical personality and mystical gaze, Gypsy is the kind of dog who turns everyday moments into something special. Sweet Gypsy joins us from Hitchcock Road Animal Services. Due to her senior status and their over full shelter, she joins the POMDR family to find her loving forever home.
