Calvin is a little different from other dogshe has a neurologic condition that gives him an adorable head tilt, some facial tremors, and a unique wobbly way of standing and walking. But what hasnt changed is his gentle, affectionate, people-loving personality. Calvin is happiest when hes right beside you. Hell gladly hobble over for cuddles, settle in next to you during the workday, or soak up all the pets youre willing to give. Despite his limited mobility, hes fully potty trained and patiently waits for his outdoor breaks. Hes been blossoming more every day in foster care and is starting to show just how sweet and trusting he truly is. Calvin would thrive in a calm home where he can relax, be carried when needed, and spend his days near his humans. Hes low maintenance, incredibly loving, and just wants to be someones special little companion. We're so grateful we were able to rescue Jujubee after she was thrown from a car window! She is a a sweet gal who is already very happy in her foster home. She will be available for adoption after her stray hold. In the meantime, here is what her foster has to say: JuJu is INCREDIBLY sweet and very mild mannered. She loves a soft spot to cozy up at will chill most of the day but will also get fired up and want to play if a toy has a squeaker in it. She seems to be house trained but is still learning how to indicate when she needs to go out. She will likely be very happy with a yard but is currently working on getting less timid about being on a leash and going on walks. Meet Dapper! Dapper is a charming Boston Terrier with a big personality and an even bigger sense of curiosity. While his past is a bit of a mystery, what we do know is that he’s ready to start fresh and see what the good life has to offer. We are still getting to know Dapper, and he’s busy showing us little glimpses of who he is each day. As he settles in, we’re excited to discover more of his likes, quirks, and favorite ways to soak up affection. Dapper is looking for a forever home that will enjoy getting to know him as he continues to come out of his shell. With patience and love, he is sure to become a loyal and entertaining best friend!

Story
We got Max and Cheese from a breeder in December 2023, when he was still a puppy. From the start, he was gentle, curious, and very affectionate. He adjusted quickly to our home and routines and showed an easygoing, sweet nature right away. He likes being close, follows people from room to room, and is happiest when he’s near someone he trusts. As he’s grown, that sweetness has stayed consistent. He’s calm, attentive, and seems to sense when someone needs comfort. He doesn’t demand attention, but he’s always present. Over time, he became a steady part of daily life and a source of comfort for everyone in the house. After the divorce, our household became split, and our schedules changed in ways we didn’t anticipate. This transition has made it more difficult to consistently care for Max and Cheese and to provide the daily exercise and structure his breed benefits from. Coordinating time, energy, and responsibility across two households has been challenging.
