Story
Hi Everyone, I’m Mark and I’m basically a walking good mood. I’m spunky, full of energy and adorable. I love playing with all my doggy friends, especially my BFF Boris. I love meeting new people and am always up for an adventure. if you don't have a yard and are willing to take me to a dog park to run and play in that would make me very happy. I'd love a dog friend to live with me. I am a small to medium size so I won't take up a lot of space in the house or on the couch. Life is pretty great in my world, and I’d love to share that energy with my forever family. I have been neutered, am up to date on my vaccines and have a microchip, which is so cool because you will always be able to find me if I wander off. But, why would I do that because being with my favorite people is where I want to be. If you want to meet me, apply at jellysplace.org

Story
Charlie is a sweet, loving girl looking for her forever home! She loves kids, is very friendly, and has lots of energy, making her a great fit for an active family or younger couple. She gets along well with smaller female dogs but is not a fan of male dogs due to being overbred and abused before we found her. She is currently not spayed.Charlie is still working on house training, so she’d do best with a fenced yard or someone who has time for frequent walks and continued training. She is located in San Ramon. The first meeting will be a meet-and-greet only so everyone can get to know each other. We will not be rehoming her on the first visit. Our priority is finding Charlie a safe, loving, permanent home. If you think she’d be a great addition to your family, please reach out!

Meet Rufus, this bundle of pure sunshine is ready to find his forever team! This professional "busybody" has never met a stranger he didn't love, and his tail starts wagging the second he spots a human or a potential furry best friend. Whether it's a game of tag with other dogs or "helping" you with your daily chores, Rufus is happiest when he's right in the middle of the action. He is looking for an active home where the adventures never end-think long hikes, backyard zoomies, and plenty of mental puzzles to keep his curious mind occupied. If you're looking for a loyal, high-energy partner to keep life exciting, Rufus is more than ready to leap into your heart! Primary Color: Fawn Secondary Color: White Weight: 31 Age: 0yrs 10mths 2wks

Story
* To be considered for a meet/adoption, please read the full biography to see whether they may be a good fit for your home, then submit an online application at www.dpsrescue.org.* This litter of puppies will be at the Palo Alto Pet Food Express on Saturday, July 18th from 12–3 PM (unless pre-adopted prior to the event). All puppies are available for pre-adoption now and will be ready to go to their homes on July 15th! All DPS Rescue dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, flea/tick treated, and microchipped prior to adoption.   Adoption fee: $650 Meet the Black & White Puppies!   Born in the rescue on May 18, 2026, these almost 8 week old adorable puppies are the lucky offspring of our wonderful Mama Clover.   Clover is a 30-pound mixed breed with a fabulous personality—friendly, outgoing, affectionate, and the kind of dog who wins everyone over within minutes. Her puppies have clearly inherited her wonderful temperament. Dad remains a mystery, but with the puppies already weighing 5–7 pounds at this young age, we expect them to grow into medium-sized dogs.   These puppies are truly some of the sweetest, friendliest puppies we have ever had in the rescue. They are mellow, quiet, playful, curious, and incredibly people-oriented. They come running when called, expecting either food or affection, and watching them trot over with happy little faces is guaranteed to make your day.   For puppies, they are remarkably well behaved. They sleep quietly through the night in their x-pen, settle nicely during the day, and spend their waking hours playing, exploring, wrestling, and soaking up attention. Tug-of-war is a favorite game, and every one of them loves cuddles.   Daily Routine   Their days follow a wonderful routine that has helped them become such confident, happy little pups. They wake around 7:00 a.m. for breakfast and a potty break, enjoy some playtime before settling in for a nap, spend the afternoon alternating between meals, outdoor play, and more naps, and finish the day with dinner, one last potty break, and a peaceful night's sleep. They're excellent eaters, and they're already learning that people are the source of both delicious meals and lots of love. Puffin (lime) — The smallest and most people oriented. She is the first to make sure she’s up on a lap, and always trying to sneak in kisses as often as possible. When there are no people around, she’s the first in the puppy pile and the last to get up out of bed when they transition from napping to play time. Sometimes she misses a whole wrestling session and just waits for the others to come back for the next nap.   Panda (blue) — He’s the largest but incredibly gentle. So sweet and kind, he never complains when his siblings grab his ear too tight or chomp on a leg too hard. He and Zebra are partners in crime for just about every activity, so much so that the fosters have a hard time telling them apart. They love to play tug of war with a soft toy.   Orca — She’s the most adventurous, exploring the whole perimeter and occasionally finding the weakest link for an escape route to find the next experience. Although she's always ready for adventure, she likes to stay close to see what you are up to. She is very curious.   Zebra (yellow) — He is always happy to see you, and celebrates hard by jumping for your attention and climbing all over you when you first arrive. If a second person enters the room, he celebrates just as hard the second time! He and Panda play tug of war a lot, and wrestle longest.   The Bottom Line   These puppies have been raised with love from the very beginning, and it shows. They are affectionate, social, easygoing, and wonderfully well adjusted for their age. While every puppy will continue learning and growing in their new home, they've already built an incredible foundation that will help them thrive.   If you're looking for a happy, friendly, medium-sized companion to grow up with your family, you truly couldn't ask for a sweeter group of puppies. Just be prepared—you may have a hard time choosing only one! As with all young littermates, puppies should be adopted separately so they can each develop into confident, independent adult dogs.   July 18, 2026, 3:31 pm

They're excellent eaters, and they're already learning that people are the source of both delicious meals and lots of love. Meet the Puppies   Lemur (Light Pink) is the thoughtful observer. She likes to check out the world at her own pace, approaching new things carefully before diving in. She's on the chill side, incredibly sweet, loves giving kisses, and enjoys both playing with her siblings and exploring on her own. She's also proving to be one smart little cookie. Beetle (Red) is the athlete of the family. She's always the first to climb over obstacles or figure out how to get where she wants to go. Despite her adventurous side, she's incredibly affectionate and will happily sit and wait for someone to scoop her up. She's especially social with people and loves spending time with the resident adult dog. Badger (Light Blue) is everyone's favorite lounge puppy. Calm and mellow, he loves being carried around in his puppy sling and is happiest when he's snuggled close. Once he relaxes, he'll rest his head on your shoulder and happily soak up all the cuddles. He's gentle, curious, and playful without being overly energetic. Skunk (Lavender) is the confident leader of the bunch. She's fearless, determined, and sometimes a little bossy with her siblings, which only adds to her charm. She knows what she wants and isn't afraid to tell you, but the moment you pick her up for a cuddle, she completely melts into your arms. Magpie (Orange) is full of curiosity and fun. She loves belly rubs, playing with toys, wrestling with her siblings, and even trying to keep up with the big dog. She's inquisitive, social, and always ready for whatever adventure comes next. Penguin (Hot Pink) is the quiet adventurer. He loves climbing, exploring, and playing tackle with his brothers and sisters, but he also has an incredibly gentle side. He'll often sit quietly and look up at you with an expression that seems to say, 'Could I have a cuddle now?' It's impossible to resist. The Bottom Line These puppies have been raised with love from the very beginning, and it shows. They are affectionate, social, easygoing, and wonderfully well adjusted for their age. While every puppy will continue learning and growing in their new home, they've already built an incredible foundation that will help them thrive.
