Story
** Current location: at a private shelter in South Korea ** Meet Moana👋🏻 She was found wandering the streets of Paju, South Korea in 2022. She ended up at a high-kill shelter but was thankfully rescued just in time. Since then, she’s been living in a private shelter with many other dogs, charming everyone with her affectionate personality. Now, she’s ready to find a forever family of her own! • Personality: Affectionate, Friendly, Goofy Moana is truly one of a kind. She quickly won the hearts of volunteers with her gentle, loving nature. She follows people around like a little shadow, happily greeting everyone—even strangers—with tail wags and affection. Moana thrives on human interaction and loves tug-of-war, belly rubs, and being the center of attention. Her energy level is moderate, making her a great balance of playful and calm. • Affinity with - Dogs: Moana is incredibly social—not just with people, but with dogs, too. She’s often the first to welcome new arrivals at the shelter, helping them feel safe and at ease. While she would thrive as the only dog in the home, Moana also does best with calm dog companions. - Cats: Not tested with cats - Adults/Kids: Great with adults / She hasn’t been tested with cats or kids, but based on her gentle demeanor, we believe she’d do well with respectful children. • Walking Manners: Moana has also started practicing her leash skills and is doing great! She may pull a little at times, but overall, she walks well and is eager to please. • Housetrained: As she’s lived in a shelter, Moana will need some house-training in a home setting. • Bathing/Brushing: She’s tolerant of baths and grooming. • Car Sickness: She’s curious and alert during car rides, taking in the world around her. • Separation Anxiety: Zero. • Barks/Howls: Very quiet • Appetite/Food Allergies: Eats well. No food allergies found so far. • Shedding level (1~10): 5 • Likes/Dislikes: She loves affection & treats! • Health: Moana finished her heartworm treatment in Oct 2024 and is in great health. She underwent successful surgery for an inguinal hernia in Mar 2025 and has fully recovered. She has a clean bill of health and is ready for her new adventure! (Her two front bottom teeth are missing)

Story
Courtesy Post: Lucky Needs a Long-Term Foster or Forever Home  This sweet soul is Lucky, and despite all he's been through, his spirit remains gentle and full of love. We’re helping a person find him a safe and loving place to land—either a forever home or a long-term foster. All supplies and medical costs will be fully covered for a foster. Lucky has lived a tough life and finally got the medical attention he needed. While we initially believed he was a senior, our vet says he’s only around 4–6 years old. He’s been neutered, treated for wounds, and received a full exam.  Medical Overview from the Vet: Good liver and kidney values Strong heartworm positive and we are treating with slow kill treatment which is Nexgard Plus monthly. He may have limited hearing Cranial nerve deficits from untreated ear infections, this has improved greatly after treatment. Limited sight, smell, and some facial muscle weakness due to nerve issues, this has improved greatly after treatment. Teeth are in good shape Despite these challenges, Lucky remains incredibly sweet with people. He loves attention and affection, and his teddy bear from Pet Supermarket is currently his favorite companion.  Home Recommendations: No cats, please He’s done okay with some dogs, but due to his sight and hearing limitations, a home where he’s the only pet may be best A calm, patient household where he can feel safe and loved.  Lucky has been through so much, and now he just needs a soft place to land. If you have the heart and home to foster or adopt this deserving boy, please reach out. Let's help Lucky finally get the life he deserves. Adoption fee is $250 To apply to adopt this pet, please fill out a Preliminary Adoption Application at  https://www.streetpaws.org/home/adopt.     This application does not commit you to an adoption. It is used to screen those interested to make sure the home is a good match for the pet and your family. We verify vet history on current/previous pets to ensure pets have been spayed/neutered and vaccinated annually. Please call your vet to give permission for us to call them. If more information is needed regarding the pet email info@streetpaws.org. You must complete the pre-application to obtain approval to meet the pet.  June 17, 2025, 12:41 pm

Story
Meet Arthur, a Boston Terrier/Mini Boxer mix who was born Nov 2023, and weighs just 30lbs. Arthur has a fun loving personality and could definitely be described as the life of the party! He loves playing with his toys, other dogs, and going on fun adventures with his people. Arthur is super smart and is a quick learner. He is already crate trained, house trained, and has excellent leash manners! With his friendly demeanor, large expressive ears, and sweet personality, he is sure to win over everyone he meets! Arthur would love an active family, and would be happy in a house with another friendly dog or would be content as the only dog. He is great in the car, and would be a perfect addition for someone who wants to take their dog out on the town. Arthur is everything a young pup should be - playful, snuggly, cute, and curious! Arthur is Heartworm positive and is currently available for a foster to adopt situation until his HW treatment is complete and he is medically cleared for adoption. If you are not familiar with Heartworm disease, dogs get it from mosquitoes, and it is not contagious. It is easily prevented & highly treatable but requires extended rest during treatment. BarkVille will cover all of Arthur&#39s medical expenses while he&#39s being fostered and receiving HW treatment. For more information about Arthur, please email us at info@barkvilledogrescue.org. If you would like to adopt this sweet boy, please submit an application for him at https://www.barkvilledogrescue.org/applications BarkVille is located in Roswell, GA and our dogs are available for adoption in the Greater Atlanta area. Applicants in surrounding states could potentially adopt a BarkVille dog if their application is approved, they live within 2-3 hours of the Greater Atlanta area, and they are able to pick up their dog from his foster home.May 24, 2025, 10:49 am

Story
We rescued Buddy on 12/26/23 from a shelter in north Georgia. He was neutered, microchipped and up to date on his meds. Since then, he has received his annual treatments at our local vet here in Roswell. At the time, our health, my wife is now 84 and I am 86. was good. But this year has not been veery kind to us and very unkind as a result to Buddy. We have had multiple hospitalizations that have left Buddy confined to his crate for extended periods and our daily health has prevented us from giving him the attention that he deserves. Buddy loves children, wants to constantly snuggle and be with his master. My only complaint with Buddy is that he will run at nearly every opportunity, but he always comes back within a short period.

Story
Lincoln is a Frenchton or Boston Terrier / French Bulldog mix. He was born in September 2023 and will be turning 2 in a few months. He is up to date on his vaccinations as well as, neutered. He is in excellent physical shape with no known health issues. He is crate trained and rarely has potty accidents. He is affectionate, loving and loyal. He loves kids but be better with older kids. He loves going on walks and playing with his sister Lily (french bulldog). Lincoln needs an experienced adopter who is familiar with his breed mix, their aggressive play style and understands how to handle their prey drive when it kicks in. The reason we are needing to rehome Lincoln is due to the littermate syndrome that has developed between Lincoln and his playmate Lily. Lincoln deserves a home where he can be loved, trained and encouraged to thrive independently. He has been incredibly loved and care for. We are heartbroken to be making this decision.
