Story
• Rescue Story:
Meet Moana👋🏻 She was found wandering the streets of Paju, South Korea in 2022. She ended up at a high-kill shelter but was thankfully rescued just in time. For 4 years, she lived in a private shelter with many other dogs, and was recently moved into her foster home in July 2026. Thanks to her awesome personality, she's beautifully settled in and learned how to live with humans! Moana is now ready to find a forever family of her own!
• Personality: Affectionate, Friendly, Goofy
Moana is truly one of a kind. She quickly won the hearts of volunteers with her gentle, loving nature. She follows people around like a little shadow, happily greeting everyone—even strangers—with tail wags and affection. Moana thrives on human interaction and loves tug-of-war, belly rubs, and being the center of attention. Her energy level is moderate, making her a great balance of playful and calm.
• Affinity with
- Dogs: Moana is incredibly social—not just with people, but with dogs, too. She’s often the first to welcome new arrivals at the shelter, helping them feel safe and at ease. While she would thrive as the only dog in the home, Moana also does best with calm dog companions.
- Cats: Not tested with cats
- Adults/Kids: Great with adults / She hasn’t been tested with cats or kids, but based on her gentle demeanor, we believe she’d do well with respectful children.
• Walking Manners: Moana has also started practicing her leash skills and is doing great! She may pull a little at times, but overall, she walks well and is eager to please.
• Housetrained: Since she moved to her foster home, Moana's started going potty outdoors with no accidents! Fully housebroken!
• Bathing/Brushing: She’s tolerant of baths and grooming.
• Car Sickness: She’s curious and alert during car rides, taking in the world around her.
• Separation Anxiety: Zero.
• Barks/Howls: Very quiet
• Appetite/Food Allergies: Eats well. No food allergies found so far.
• Shedding level (1~10): 5
• Likes/Dislikes: She loves affection and treats!
• Health: Moana finished her heartworm treatment in Oct 2024 and is in great health.

International transportation, Customs and export documentation, Medical care (spay surgery, vaccinations, health certificate, deworming, etc.)
