Story

Silencio is a deaf Boston Terrier/Frenchie Mix. He is two years old and loves all people. He has not had a lot of experience with other animals before coming into the rescue. We have been playing him with other dogs -bigger and same size....he is learning how to play...he just plays very enthusiastically and not always in-tune with how the other dog(s) feel about his play style! He was surrendered to the rescue by his Human Grandpa that convinced his son that Silencio (Gus was his name with his original owner) deserved a better life. Silencio was kept in a crate with attached xpen. He used a litter box and never went out side. The children in the house hold never even were allowed to play with him. Silencio is now crate trained and scheduled trained for pottying. He has received training and is learning basic commands and signs. He gets time to play outside, interact with humans and play with doggie friends. We would love to get him in a foster or furever home.

Roscoe is a 6 year old Boston Terrier whose owner died. He was quite upset as he was a very loved pet. But life goes on and this brave boy is trying to move on. He is good with other dogs and would most likely be fine with a cat as he doesn't chase anything but his food dish. He is friendly, and very lovable, but he did nip at someone during transitioning to a foster home so we don't recommend for children. His new foster home reports no issues. It seems like you are speaking to someone and not a pet when you are speaking to him. He is very perceptive. This boy is completely vetted and waiting for someone who has the time and heart to help him transition into another loving home. He is worth it.
