Story
Pepe is a 12-week-old Boston Terrier mix with a heart full of love and a whole lot of personality! This little guy may be small in size, but he’s big on charm. He’s as cuddly as they come and has no problem keeping up with the big dogs in his foster home—he plays confidently with his 60- and 80-pound foster siblings and absolutely loves every minute of it.   Pepe is doing a fantastic job with crate and potty training. He’s working hard and making great progress—he sleeps through the night in his kennel without a peep and has just the occasional accident on a puppy pad.   Pepe’s personality is a perfect mix of sweet and silly. He’s gentle and affectionate, but also playful and full of spunk. Whether he’s romping around with his toys, zooming around the room, or snuggling up for a nap, Pepe is guaranteed to bring joy wherever he goes. His easygoing and social nature makes him a great candidate for a home with young kids or other pets.   Pepe is ready to bring love, laughter, and lots of tail wags to his forever home!   Visit ruffredemption.org to complete an application. All Ruff Redemption Dogs are spayed/neutered and microchipped prior to adoption. They also receive a minimum of two distemper/parvo vaccines, medication for the treatment and prevention of intestinal worms, and monthly heart worm/flea prevention while in our care. Rabies vaccines are given if the dog is 16 weeks of age or older.  April 11, 2025, 6:16 pm

Story
Lila (Lee-la) is a spirited 10-week-old, 7 lb Boston Terrier mix with a big personality packed into her petite frame. Bursting with energy and enthusiasm, she’s always ready for her next adventure—whether it’s zooming around the backyard, exploring every corner, or engaging in a lively game of tug with her favorite toys. This little dynamo thrives in the company of others and gets along wonderfully with dogs, kids, and even cats! She’s playful, social, and loves to be right in the middle of the action. While she’s still working on crate and potty training, she’s a smart and eager learner who’s making great progress every day. Because of her high energy and love for playtime, Lila needs a home with a securely fenced yard and at least one other active dog to match her enthusiasm. She’s looking for a family that can keep up with her zest for life and provide the structure, love, and playtime she craves. Visit ruffredemption.org to complete an application. Story
Meet Gigi: A Petite Pup with a Big Heart   Gigi is a delightful Boston Terrier mix who weighs just 14 pounds but carries a world of love and personality. A true social butterfly, Gigi gets along splendidly with dogs of all breeds and sizes. She is fully potty-trained, house-trained, and crate-trained, making her a dream companion. When nature calls, she’ll sit by the front door and give a gentle bark to let you know she’s ready to go outside.   At bedtime, Gigi is adaptable; she’ll happily sleep in her crate or burrow under a blanket in your bed for extra warmth and closeness. Gigi is a pro on leash and equally reliable off-leash, making her a joy to take on walks and adventures.   This little lady thrives on routine and does well on a twice-daily feeding schedule. When left home alone, she’s content in her crate, waiting patiently for your return. Gigi has luxating patellas in both knees, a condition that may lead to arthritis in her later years. While her knees don’t bother her now, a quality joint supplement is recommended to keep her moving comfortably for years to come.   Initially shy and timid around new people, Gigi warms up quickly and will soon form a deep bond with her favorite human. Loyal and affectionate, she loves to “dance” and “speak” on command, bringing joy to everyone around her. Playtime with her humans or doggy friends is one of her favorite pastimes, but she’s equally content to sunbathe or snuggle under a blanket when it’s time to relax.   Gigi would thrive in a home with middle school to high school-aged children who can respect her gentle nature and playful spirit. With her sweet demeanor and endearing quirks, Gigi is ready to find her forever home and share her boundless love. Visit ruffredemption.org to complete an application. Story
Meet Arthur, a Boston Terrier/Mini Boxer mix who is around 1yr old, and weighs just 30lbs. Arthur has a fun loving personality and could definitely be described as the life of the party! He loves playing with his toys, other dogs, and going on fun adventures with his people. Arthur is super smart and is a quick learner. He is already crate trained, house trained, and has excellent leash manners! With his friendly demeanor, large expressive ears, and sweet personality, he is sure to win over everyone he meets! Arthur would love an active family, and would be happy in a house with another friendly dog or would be content as the only dog. He is great in the car, and would be a perfect addition for someone who wants to take their dog out on the town. Arthur is everything a young pup should be - playful, snuggly, cute, and curious! Arthur is Heartworm positive and is currently available for a foster to adopt situation until his HW treatment is complete and he is medically cleared for adoption. If you are not familiar with Heartworm disease, dogs get it from mosquitoes, and it is not contagious. It is easily prevented & highly treatable but requires extended rest during treatment. BarkVille will cover all of Arthur&#39s medical expenses while he&#39s being fostered and receiving HW treatment. For more information about Arthur, please email us at info@barkvilledogrescue.org. If you would like to adopt this sweet boy, please submit an application for him at https://www.barkvilledogrescue.org/applications BarkVille is located in Roswell, GA and our dogs are available for adoption in the Greater Atlanta area. Applicants in surrounding states could potentially adopt a BarkVille dog if their application is approved, they live within 2-3 hours of the Greater Atlanta area, and they are able to pick up their dog from his foster home.March 3, 2025, 5:00 pm

Story
Meet Bruin, an adorable Brindle and white colored Boston Terrier! This cutie is estimated to be around 2-3yr old, and weighs 20lbs. Bruin came to BarkVille Dog Rescue after being found as a stray, nearly starved to death. He is now thriving in his foster home and is loving life! He is dog friendly and has a rough and tumble play style! He walks great on leash (no pulling!) and is crate trained, and house trained. Bruin has a typical Boston Terrier personality - he is fun loving, energetic, cuddly, and stubborn at times! Bruin would love a family who will spend time playing with him, and a fenced yard (no chain link). He will bark when crated, so no apartments. Due to his energy and play style, he would do best with older kids/teens. Bruin is currently heartworm positive, and is currently available for a foster to adopt situation until his HW treatment is complete and he is medically cleared for adoption. If you are not familiar with Heartworm disease, dogs get it from mosquitoes and it is not contagious. It is easily prevented & highly treatable, but requires extended rest during treatment. Story
A SWEET, ADORABLE & SILLY GIRL:  Approx. 3 years old / Approx. 30 lbs.  Hi, my name’s Angelica!  I came to Mostly Mutts from animal control, and I’m so glad they rescued me! I’m in a great foster home, while I get ready to meet my new family.  I came in with a lot of skin issues which have taken quite some time to figure out, so be sure to read my medical section to make sure we’ll be a good fit. I look forward to finding a wonderful family that will take great care of me as well as have lots of fun with me!    • OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS:  I enjoy playing with the other dog in my foster home and I’m learning from them when it’s time to take a break. So, if you have a hearty dog at home that would enjoy a playful buddy, let’s meet (no small or fragile dogs as I would be too much for them!). / I should not live with cats as I am way too much for them. / I’ve not met kids yet in my foster home, though there is a sweet special adult that is of small stature in my foster home, and I don’t always behave the best around them, sometimes lunging, etc., so older, mature kids will be best and of course, let’s meet.   • PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL:  I’ve already charmed my foster family, and they say I am ‘a delightful addition’ to their home and I bet you will agree!  I am friendly and silly and will sometimes chew things that draw my interest such as the remote, a shoe or slipper, etc., so keep those things put away.  I am a Bulldog mix, and we’re known for being a little pushy, and stubborn at times, so just know that trait about me.  In general, I’m pretty easy-going, devoted, and cuddly on the couch with my people.  I have short bursts of excitement then lose interest, and when I was at the shelter, they said I was either running or standing still - lol. When picked up I’ll give a little groan/sigh of enjoyment.  I don’t like a lot of alone time, so a stay-at-home or work-from-home family member is what I’d like. Affectionate and playful with people, I am sure to bring lots of joy to a lucky family! / My energy level in my foster home is: 4-5.    • SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY:  I know the ‘sit’, ‘stay’, ‘come’, ‘off’, and ‘no’ commands with visual cues – my foster can show you.  I’ve recently learned to carefully make my way down a flight of stairs but will readily bolt up them – lol. I’m also learning some doggie manners and positive behaviors by watching my foster dog sister.  I love treats, so I bet you can teach me even more. Just know that my treats must be the prescription ones that have helped my skin heal (see medical). / My crate manners are good in my foster home, and I will go into it on command and on my own. / I’m still having accidents in my foster home, so I will need you to help me master my potty skills by keeping me on a consistent schedule (every 2 hours during the day) and keeping an eye on me (I have #1 accidents when out of sight of my foster).  Another reason a stay-/work-from-home family member is best.   • LIKES/DISLIKES:  I love attention from and being with people and - you don’t have to call me twice at mealtimes, as I love to eat!  I also enjoy exploring the backyard and running around with the other dog in the yard. Spending time playing tug-o-war with toys and chewing on Benebones is fun, too. Lately, I’ve discovered the art of chasing large tennis balls and will frequently store one in my mouth when I’m inside, sort of like a pacifier – so cute. / I don’t really like walking on a leash, and I’m very afraid of cars passing by, so playing in the yard is a fun way to spend my outdoor time with you!  Otherwise, I’m sure I wouldn’t like it if I didn’t get enough love, attention, and training. • MEDICAL:  I'm current on vaccinations, micro-chipped and spayed. As mentioned in my opening statement, I have had skin challenges (this is typical of my Bulldog breed) that have taken a while to figure out.  I’m now doing really well eating a prescription food called Hydrolyzed protein.  I MUST stay on this food and not get any other food or treats!  Thankfully, they make treats in this formula, too!  I am also on an allergy medication called Apoquel that has helped, which I should stay on. (We’ll talk in detail about my skin, etc.) I am looking for a great home where I will be a much-loved member of the family!  My adoption fee is $299.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.  April 4, 2025, 5:56 am
