Meet Pongo! Pongo is a 2 year old, 33 pound, sweet as can be pup! While his parents are unknown, Pongo resembles a Boston Terrier on stilts and he has the most hilarious ears that stand up and then flop over to the side. They are too cute! Pongo is a higher energy guy that loves to play! While he does well with his furry foster siblings, he does tend to participate in high energy play, which might be off putting to some dogs. He would do very well in a home with another dog that likes to play and isn't intimidated by Pongo being in their face. Pongo is very sweet to all humans, including his four and nine year old human foster siblings. Pongo is well behaved in his crate and is working hard to perfect potty training. His foster family is convinced that he will perfect the potty training with a good schedule! This young guy is looking for his perfect forever family, filled with love, play and lots of walks! Oreo, a delicious treat good any time of the day, hey hey, that's me! Just twist, lick and dunk along with me for a feel good moment anytime of the day! I have a cookie named just for me...well I haven't been around since 1912 so I guess I was named after the cookie. Either way, we're both sweet but get this, you won't have any guilt indulging in this Oreo!!! I'm only around 10months old and came in with a broken leg. We got me all fixed up and I can now run and jump and chase the other foster pups around!! I will hold that leg up every once in awhile but then I'm off on my next adventure using that leg just fine. I come in at the top end of the small category of 25lbs. I shouldn't get much bigger(taller) but may but on a few filling-out pounds. I'm a great size for any and all your action adventures but also a great size for being your BFF. I'm pretty quiet, have a super sweet disposition and get along great with other dogs. I could learn to tolerate a cat but it would probably be best if my home was cat free. I'm house and crate trained and let me tell you, that's a fantastic bonus for my new family. I also do well on the leash and love going for my daily walks! Do you need a BFF? A constant in your life? A lil cohort up for any crime you want to try? Hey, look no further, I'm just the gal you're looking for!!!!!

Meena is up for a good time with a fun-loving family. She is learning how to chill when you want and how to occupy herself with toys and chewies, but only after some hard playing first! She loves affection from people, and is cool with other dogs and kids. She will entertain your dog or somewhat older kids all day! She might be overwhelming for little kids as she is working on learning manners, like how not to jump up on people. Meena is  listening very well to direction and wants to please, and is amazing at keeping her crate clean!   She doesn't mind being kept in the crate for awhile while her family is at work, as long as she gets plenty of exercise when they get back!    Meena is getting very good at housebreaking, she was just confused for a while about what her family expects of her (I suspect she had been peepee-pad trained, which mostly teaches them that it's ok to pee on rugs...) She's improving quickly in her foster home and after being shown where to potty, should be just fine in yours. Meena is becoming very good on a leash, she doesn't bark much at home (though is pretty stressed and barks a lot at adoption events) and is an excellent rider in the car. She is very food-driven so treats go a long way with her during training. Meena would be great at agility, and will learn to be good off-leash as well as she just wants to be with you!
