Story
Are you ready for fun? Sassy little Jianna is waiting to meet you! She's a playful, silly young girl with an adorable smile. Jianna says hello with a play bow. She loves toys and treats and playing with other dogs. She's a petite little thing, about 1 year old and fully grown at 17 pounds. She's a Heinz 57 varieties-type mixed breed girl. We're guessing some blend of terrier breeds, maybe some Boston Terrier? Honestly, we have no clue, we just know she's adorable and fun. She came to the rescue with her sister Kiki, they both have adorable little bob tails. Jianna is a bit timid in new situations and when meeting new people but she warms up quickly if you have treats. She's best suited to a home with a confident, friendly dog who can help her navigate her new life. If you'd like to meet Jianna, please fill out a dog adoption application at dreamhouserescue.org. We are happy to arrange a private meet with an approved adopter. You can meet Jianna at our weekly adoption event, Saturday 11:30am-1:30pm at PetSmart Eastgate. Our fully-vetted adoptable dogs go to prospective homes for a one-week trial period to make sure the dog and home are the right fit before an adoption is finalized. We only adopt dogs into homes where all current pets are spayed/neutered and current on vaccines and heartworm and flea and tick prevention. We do check veterinary references to make sure adopters are compliant with standard veterinary care. Our adoptable dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm tested, dewormed and current on flea and tick and heartworm prevention. Story
Meet Ginger! An adorable senior with the soul of a puppy. Ginger must be an only pet. She does not like to share her humans or her possessions. She divides her time equally between playing and cuddling. She gets a little grumbly if you decide to end either before she's ready but she does correct easily. I wouldn't recommend a home with kids because of her desire not to share. This sweet girl has a history of struvite crystals and does require observations for flareups. She also has dry eye and will need prescription eye ointment lifelong. Otherwise, she is in good health. If you are a strong, patient pack leader and are looking for a cuddly ball of energy, Ginger may be your girl.August 25, 2026, 7:25 pm

Story
Hi! My name is Leia. I am very calm and very sweet girl. I do want attention. I do well on leash so going on walks is a great way for me to enjoy the outdoors. I sit when I am given a treat. I don't bark much. I am pretty layed back. I am a little selective with other dogs. I do fine with kids, and cats. I would love to find a home soon to be loved foreverTo adopt one of our animals, please visit our shelter, open Tuesday-Friday from Noon-5pm and Saturday from Noon-4pm. You may also submit an application online from our website at http://www.HelpTheAnimalsINC.com/adopt.

Story
Location: Cincinnati, OH Food: Hydrolyzed Protein Medication: NexGard Plus Hi, my name is Ruby. Let me tell you a little about myself. ❤️ First of all, yes… it’s true. I have one ear. Before you panic, relax. I can still hear you. Sometimes you might need to clap, stomp, or make a little extra effort to get my attention, but if you yell “RUBY,” I promise you… I heard that. Probably. Mostly. Enough. Now let’s talk about my personality, because WOW. I am crate trained, potty trained, and professionally hilarious. I am also extremely good at keeping myself occupied, especially if you meet my one non negotiable requirement: 👉 An absolutely unhinged supply of Benebones. I will chew one for an HOUR. Do not test me. Do not buy just one. This is not a suggestion. This is a contract. I love humans. Like… LOVE humans. I will climb directly into your lap and lay down like I’ve been paying rent there my entire life. I am affectionate, goofy, expressive, and full of personality. I will also bounce off every piece of furniture in your home like I’m training for the Parkour Championship Finals. Couch, wall, ottoman… nothing is safe. Now let’s have an honest conversation about dogs. I can be very overstimulated and very intense during play. I like to be the dominant personality, and while I may enjoy another dog in passing, rescue has decided I would thrive best as the only dog in the home. Honestly? I kind of love the idea of being the center of attention anyway. 👑 Important medical tea ☕ I have allergies, and those allergies are actually why I had to have surgeries on my ear. So food rules are not optional. They are a lifestyle. I cannot eat chicken, duck, or turkey. If it once walked around a farm and went “cluck” or “quack,” it is NOT my friend. Stick to my approved diet and I do great. Ignore it and my body will file a formal complaint. My facial expressions alone are worth the adoption fee. I will bring you joy all day long just by existing. I am dramatic. I am expressive. I am basically an emoji in dog form. So if you’re looking for a dog who will: • Sit in your lap • Make you laugh constantly • Chew like it’s her job • Bounce off furniture • Be the queen of the house • Respect a strict diet • Hear you most of the time • And stare into your soul with judgment and love Congratulations. You found me. Love, Ruby 🐶👑 ***Adoption Process*** -All current pets in the home need to be spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccines and on veterinarian prescribed flea/tick/heart worm prevention. -Everyone living in the home, including all resident dogs, must be present at the meet and greet located in the Southwest Ohio area. -We DO NOT ship dogs!!!
