You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Gia, a delightful young pup who is equal parts curious, energetic, and full of joy! Born on August 30, 2025, this sweet girl weighs 7.9 pounds and is ready to explore her world right by your side. Gia's mom is a beautiful pure bred Boston Terrier who found herself on the streets.  We suspect the dad is a traveling salesman who took advantage of this sweet mom.  A good Samaritan rescued the mom and fostered her puppies until they were 8 weeks old.   Gia is a playful little sweetheart looking for an active household that can match her enthusiasm for life. She would thrive in a home with kids who are ready for fun and games, with an active couple who loves adventure, or with a stay-at-home person who can keep up with her lively spirit! Like all young puppies, Gia is smart and eager to learn. She needs a family with the time and patience to continue her training and socialization, helping her grow into a confident, well-mannered adult dog. She is ready to absorb everything you teach her and become the perfect companion. If Gia sounds like the energetic and loving addition your family needs, her adoption fee is $350. Please complete an application on the website:  www.adoggie4you.org . Story
Hi! My name is Riley! My brother (Winston) and I were found running the streets of Universal City. We are approximately a year old. I am the little brother. We were both really scared. We have been with our foster mommy for a couple days now. I am gradually coming out of my shell. I will come over to foster momma and want to be picked up and petted, sometimes I make it a game and will play shy, but then give in and let her pick me up to relax in her lap. Sometimes I even jump up in her lap and demand attention! If I do not get it, I will swat at her with my paw until she pays attention to me! I love toys and playing with my brother. I also have foster brothers and sisters that are my size and bigger than me. I am working on potty training. I am a very fast learner. I should master that very quickly! I like to explore the backyard. I am still a puppy with lots of puppy energy. I am kennel trained. Foster momma says I have the cutest underbite. I love to run and play, when I am done, I like to either lay down on the couch next to momma or even go and lay in my bed wherever that may be. Momma placed my bed while she was cleaning my kennel and that did not stop me from getting into my bed. I climbed on top of the kennel and decided to take a power nap! Local adoption fee in Texas is $350 Out of state adoption fee with transport and fuel surcharge is $650.

Story
Looking for a little dog with a lot of heart? Meet Ian! This pint-sized black and white pup is living proof that a broken hip and medical needs do not mean a broken spirit! Ian's hip has healed but he is on daily meds for a medical condition, Diabetes insipidus. Despite it all, Ian is fun, boisterous, and full of playful energy that is absolutely contagious. Ian may be small, but he has a big love for life. He thrives on attention and is constantly looking for a game of seek with his toys or a good cuddle session. He plays well with other dogs, making him a great potential new sibling for your current furry friend. When it comes to his favorite things, toys rank high on the list, and food is right up there too; he's happily not picky about his meals... He eats from a slow feeder bowl to make sure he doesn't get too overzealous with his meals and is able to digest well. Ian is looking for a loving home where his joyful personality can shine and he can get the care and affection he deserves. Are you ready to give this resilient, playful boy a chance at a happy forever home? Basic Info: Male, 1 yr old Boston Terrier/Chihuahua Coat: Black and White UTD on shots and parasitic preventatives. Diabetes Insipidus: affects urine concentration, requires twice daily meds to maintain healthy urine and for bladder contraction to aid in fully emptying the bladder Local adoption fee (Texas) - $200 Out of state adoption (includes transport to your area) ‐ $450

Story
Meet Mortimor — Our Brave Little Survivor Age/Weight: 7 years, 35lbs Breed: French Bulldog Background: Puppy Mill Survivor Mortimor has spent most of his life in a puppy mill, but those dark days are finally behind him. Now, this sweet 7-year-old Frenchie is learning what it truly means to be loved and cared for. Despite his rough past, Mortimor is gentle, curious, and full of quiet charm. He’s discovering the simple joys of life — soft beds, tasty meals, and the comfort of kind hands. Mortimor enjoys calm spaces and spending time near his favorite humans. Because of his past, he can be shy at first, but with patience and love, he opens up beautifully and shows just how affectionate he can be. Mortimor can be a bit greedy with food and water because of his past. Mortimor would thrive in a peaceful home with people who understand that healing takes time. He’s looking for a forever family who will give him the safety, stability, and love he’s always deserved. Mortimor is crate trained and working on house training. Let’s help Mortimor start the next chapter of his life — one filled with comfort, kindness, and endless cuddles. Mortimor is fostered in the Cincinnati area. His adoption fee is $300.00. To adopt this animal, please visit https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt All of our animals come spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, are microchipped, heartworm negative, current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention, dewormed, and treated for any ailments found upon veterinary examination. The adoption fee covers a portion of these services, and makes it possible for us to continue rescuing animals. For more information on the adoption fees and the adoption process, please complete our adoption application here: https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt - an application allows us to get to know your family better so we can assess whether the animal you are interested in is a good match for your home. An application does not obligate you to adopt. Please understand that due to the volume of applications some animals receive, we are unable to contact all applicants. If your application is considered a good fit for the animal you are interested in, or even a different pet, a volunteer will give you a call as soon as possible. We are a foster based rescue and do not have a shelter location where animals can be seen during the week. Please see our Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/LouiesLegacy for our weekly adoption album if you are interested in meeting an animal in person. Not all animals attend every adoption event, please check our Facebook page for animal event times and locations before you make a trip to meet a specific animal.
