She faced a tough challenge early on, contracting parvo just two days after arriving at A Doggie 4 You. Thanks to excellent care and her strong spirit, Maricopa made a full recovery and is now eagerly waiting for her new family. This charming Boston Terrier/Husky mix, born around February 25, 2024, is a playful and energetic bundle of joy, weighing 17.0 pounds as of May 29, 2025. Maricopa loves to wrestle and play tug-of-war with her three siblings, turning every playtime into an adventure. She is very social and enjoys making new friends, both human and furry. Maricopa is doing great on learning the leash, sit and down as our trainer has been working with her. She would thrive with a patient family who can provide the extra training she needs. Her playful energy and affectionate nature make her the perfect companion for anyone looking to add joy and excitement to their life. Zeus is a10 year-old Brindle Boston mix, 33 pounds of muscle, with a gentle mouth; he's a very loving guy who loves to play with dogs his size. He's a bit energetic for smaller dogs, but played with our 10# puppy every day. Zeus would love to have a 6 foot fenced yard with room to run and play; he used to jump our 4 foot fence. Donald is a dog with a heart of gold, and unfortunately a kidney that’s a little high-maintenance. Diagnosed with stage 2 renal disease, he’s taking it all in stride, mostly because he thinks his prescription food is some kind of VIP room service. (Don’t tell him it’s low-protein. We’re trying to keep the illusion alive.) If you are looking to open up your home to the silliest of little guys and are able to provide just a little extra care Donald is yours! He enjoys short walks followed by long naps, and is a firm believer that every visitor is here specifically to pet him. Donald’s here to remind us all that even when life throws you a curveball, it’s okay to drool a little and keep wagging. This pet is available through SICSA Pet Adoption & Wellness Center, located at 8172 Washington Church Road, Washington Township, OH 45458. We are open Monday through Saturday from 12pm-7pm. We cannot get enough of this sweet little face! Meet BRANCH, an adorable little mixed breed girl looking for a home. She's a petite 1-2 year old 19 pound jet black girl. Our best guess on breed mix is pug/Italian greyhound, probably with a few other breeds mixed in. She has a puggy face and the lean long legged body of a sighthound. Her long legs make her look like a big dog, but she's so much smaller than she appears in photos. Branch is such a fun bouncy girl. She loves toys and treats. Branch loves to run and play in the the yard with her foster siblings and always sleeps cuddled up with another dog, so she needs a home with another playful dog and a physically fenced yard. She's very curious about cats, not aggressive, but can be a pest. She should be fine with a dog-savvy cat who doesn't put up with canine nonsense. Branch loves making friends with everyone she meets. If you'd like to meet Branch, please fill out a dog adoption application at dreamhouserescue.org. We are happy to arrange a private meet with an approved adopter. You can meet Blanche at our weekly adoption event, Saturday noon-2 at PetSmart Eastgate. All of our fully-vetted adoptable dogs go to prospective homes for a one-week trial period to make sure the dog and home are the right fit before an adoption is finalized. We only adopt dogs into homes where all current pets are spayed/neutered and current on vaccines and heartworm and flea and tick prevention. We do check veterinary references to make sure adopters are compliant with standard veterinary care. Our adoptable dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm tested, dewormed and current on flea and tick and heartworm prevention.
