Button is a 1.5-year-old Boston Terrier mix with adorable pointy ears and an even sweeter personality. At about 33 pounds, she’s a great medium size for both adventures and snuggles. Button is incredibly affectionate and tends to love people right away. She’s also full of puppy energy—this wiggly, squirmy girl is always ready to play and would do best with an active family who can keep up with her. She’s still learning her leash skills and will benefit from continued training as she settles into her new home. Button may have a bit of separation anxiety, so she’ll need a patient family who can give her time and reassurance while she adjusts. She seems to react positively to other dogs. She can also be cat-tested if needed and would do well with kids. Button was transferred from another local rescue and is ready to find a loving home of her own. Story
Zeus is a10 year-old Brindle Boston mix, 33 pounds of muscle, with a gentle mouth; he's a very loving guy who loves to play with dogs his size.  He's a bit energetic for smaller dogs, but played with our 10# puppy every day. Zeus would love to have a 6 foot fenced yard with room to run and play; he used to jump our 4 foot fence.  He doesn't like cats and doesn't like having his nails cut. Up to date on shots, heartworm negative, crate and house trained.  He's a great dog. Please send your phone number to learn more about Zeus. Vince started life on a hoarder house and was a shy boy when he came to us, it took him a minute to work out that the world is ok outside of that house and it’s ok to trust. He’s come on in leaps and bounds, and has turned into a happy little boy in his new environment. Whilst we expect there to be a period of adjustment and some shyness he has shown us that he can do it. He’s very well socialised with other dogs. He might not be the best candidate for a super noisy home with young children. But that’s for his sake not theirs, he’s a sweetheart.

Sweet Maxine is a low key, lower energy lady, she likes other dogs and playing with a few toys, but mainly she likes to just hang out with a person. She would make a great companion animal for an older person who is looking for a sweet, gentle easy little dog.

Diesel looks like a little tough fella but he’s not, he’s a big baby. After starting life in a hoarder house he’s now living free and enjoying being able to be a real dog. He has medium energy, and has got past his shyness, and whilst we expect there to be a period of adjustment going into a new home, he has shown us that he can absolutely do this and be a very happy and confident little guy.

Aurora is a sweet girl that is about 3-4 years old, she spent her life in a hoarder situation with many other dogs and is now learning the world is much better than she thought. She’s a happy little girl now that has really opened up, she loves her 1 on 1 time with her person and would be a great companion. Whilst we expect there to be a period of adjustment as she is still a little shy in new situations she has shown us she can adapt well to new situations with time and a little patience. Preferring a home with no small children for her sake, that might be a bit too much noise and excitement.
