Hi, I am Adalyn! I am a 5 year old female Boston terrier. I am sweet and I love affection, but I am very shy and hesitant with new people. It takes time for me to warm up when I meet someone, and even once I know them I can tend to startle easily. I love to snuggle with my foster mom on the couch and I follow her everywhere she goes. I’m a toy fanatic and will chew any toy and chase any ball! I also love to wrestle with my foster siblings. I would do best in a home with a confident dog to help me feel safe. I am not a big fan of the cats or small pets in my foster home - they are too fun when I chase them! I take medication daily to help with my anxiety. I’ve come a long way since I came to the rescue, and my medicine has made a big difference. I have a heart murmur that is stable and currently requires no treatment or special care. I am looking for a loving, patient, calm home with a dog companion. I would do best with adults only in the home, who can understand that sometimes I am a nervous nelly. Adalyn is spayed, vaccinated, HW negative, and up to date on flea/worm preventions. She’s still learning her leash skills and will benefit from continued training as she settles into her new home. Mitzi is currently in a rescue in Oklahoma. We are looking for a home in a state where people treat their animals well. She has to be prepaid and picked up directly from transport near one of the cities listed at the bottom. If things don't work out for some reason, which rarely ever happens, she will go back to Oklahoma on our next transport until a new home is found. Mitzi is a female Boston Terrier/Cattle Dog mix and has just turned a year old (February 7th). -She weighs around 30 pounds. -Very friendly -Missing one toe from her right foot (you can see in pictures and video). Doesn't bother her in the slightest! -Has the cutest underbite! -Energetic, full of life. Happy to be here and have dog and human friends to play with -Couch potato -Walks on a leash. Zeus is a10 year-old Brindle Boston mix, 33 pounds of muscle, with a gentle mouth; he's a very loving guy who loves to play with dogs his size. He's a bit energetic for smaller dogs, but played with our 10# puppy every day. Zeus would love to have a 6 foot fenced yard with room to run and play; he used to jump our 4 foot fence. This little one came from a hoarding situation, we are estimating to be somewhere between 1-2 years old. Being taken out of that situation when it’s all you’ve ever known is a bit of an adjustment, they have just gone into foster homes, and with patience they have come out of their shells and are adjusting well, into a normal life. None of the dogs were nippy, just nervous. With this in mind we would recommend no small children or hectic households. They are all used to other dogs and a confident doggy companion in the home would be great. Diesel and Ariel This little one has made great progress since joining us, showing much more affection and we can tell feeling generally happier now than when they first got to us. Little shy still? Yes , but making great progress!
