She was rescued in really rough shape, skin in bones with pressure sores on her joints, but she is the sweetest baby who just wants to be cuddled. Harley has tested well with other dogs, is working on gaining weight and is enjoying the simple things in life like regular meals and comfy blankets. I am fully vetted and am working on my house training. If I can get out frequently I do well and I will go potty on a leash. I am a little shy when I first meet people and will bark, but a little patience and some treats and I am a complete love bug. I met a new friend a few weeks ago and we went for a car trip and I slept like a baby on her lap. I loved sleeping under a blanket with her holding me like a baby. She could hold me any way she wanted and I was in complete heaven. I am fully vetted including being neutered. I was a little thin when I came into rescue, but I have filled out nicely and I am ready for my very own forever family. I play well with others, and sometimes I get so excited that I play nip and talk a lot. I would do best in a home without young kids only because I am a ball of energy. This friend has just arrived to us on transport from a high-intake shelter partner! When our friends are new to us, we are often unsure of their full background. Our staff will spend some time getting to know them and update their bio with more information as we learn. They are pending interactions with animals until they have been cleared by our vet. Please note that we often are unsure of house, crate, car, and leash training status upon arrival. If you are interested in adopting this dog, please submit an adoption questionnaire! Our adoption process is on a first-come, best-match basis and we are not able to hold animals. If you are interested in this specific dog but it ends up not being the best fit upon meeting, our adoption counselors will work with you to help find a match! All household members, including children and other dogs, must come along for the meeting to make sure it's a good fit. If a match is made, we encourage same-day adoptions! Our adoption fees include the animals' spay/neuter, microchip, age-appropriate vaccinations and preventatives, fecal testing, heartworm testing, and a small bag of food to get you started.
