Hi! My name is Bama and I am looking for a forever home. I am an owner surrender to a small rescue after spending the last 5 years of my life living in a small crate. A volunteer with that rescue saw me and was able to talk my owner into giving me up; she then contacted BCAA to see if they could help me in my search for a home where I can run, play and be a regular dog and they said yes! I am about 9-10years old although you would never guess it by how much I love to run around (my foster mom says I act like a typical Boston terrier, whatever that means). I weigh a little under 24lbs and am at a good weight. I have gotten along with all of the other dogs I have met, some smaller and some bigger than me, and I haven't bothered those things called cats. I have done really well in my crate without any accidents or tearing up of bedding; however, I would prefer to be out with you and will sometimes let you know not to forget about me if I see or hear you. I am good on leash although I may tug a little in my excitement on being out and going on an adventure. Oh yeah, I love playing with water coming out of a hose! Zeus is a10 year-old Brindle Boston mix, 33 pounds of muscle, with a gentle mouth; he's a very loving guy who loves to play with dogs his size. He's a bit energetic for smaller dogs, but played with our 10# puppy every day. Zeus would love to have a 6 foot fenced yard with room to run and play; he used to jump our 4 foot fence. Once you are her person, Pebbles melts right into your lap and showers you with her signature enthusiastic kisses. She currently lives with foster brothers, but she is more of a polite roommate than a play buddy. Her real joys are exploring the yard, sniffing the breeze, and stretching out like a tiny sun worshipper. Pebbles is crate trained, housebroken, and wonderfully devoted. She prefers a home without little kids, and if there is another dog, they will need to be the right fit for her sparkling and specific personality.
